Hayes P.O.V

Mikayla just cried into my shirt. All she kept screaming is that they left her. After a while she stopped, I figured she fell asleep. Mikayla was wrapped around me so I picked her up bridal style and carried her upstairs. I don't want Mikayla to hate me or be mad at me for my feelings. Somehow I feel like she likes me too but I was too late. I lay Mikayla on her bed and tucked her in, she began to stir.
"Hayes."she sweetly said. I turned around and looked at her.

"Yes?" I said and held her hand. I don't know if she could feel the Sparks like I did.

"Hayes, they left and didn't say goodbye."

" Who left Mikayla?" I asked her

"My parents, they didn't try hard enough for me and Kayla. They left us and this time they can't go back. I haven't seen my parents since May, Hayes ." Mikayla said to me and I just hugged her. She cried some more and then fell asleep. I laid next to her when I heard the door open downstairs. Kayla and her grandpa were home. I walked downstairs and greeted them.

"Hey, Hayes where's Mikayla?". He grandfather asked. I don't know how they will find out about their parents death. I walked in the kitchen and got a class of water for Mikayla.
"She is okay but she just got some really bad new." I said then walked back up the step. When I walked back upstairs she still sleeping . The tears from earlier today stained her cheeks. The phone rang downstairs again and I prayed that it wasn't the hospital.

Kayla P.O.V

I sat at the island that was in the kitchen. The phone started to ring and my grandpa walked over to answer it.

"Hello." he said into the phone I looked at him as he talked to the person on the other end. His eyes had gotten watery and his face had changed. "Ok I will be there with them in two days." my grandpa said into the phone then hung up. My grandpa looked at me and sighed. He grabbed my hand and sit in front of me.

"Look Mikayla already knows. But me and you just found out." he said to me. what was he talking about.

"What?"i said confused.
"Your parents passed this afternoon." he said to me and my whole world stopped.

Mikayla P.O.V
I woke up to somebody talking on the phone. Then all the events for earlier came like a flood in my head. I started to cry again. Hayes walked over to me and hugged me tightly.

"Look at me." Hayes said and I never did.

"Mikayla!" He said alittle louder. There was no doubt that my eyes were puffy and red. I looked up at Hayes and he wiped away my tears.

"Hey hey hey, you'll be okay. Your parents wouldn't want you crying all day they want you to be happy. That is why they send you down here in the summer because it makes you happy." Hayes said to me holding my face.

"That's where your wrong. I rarely talk to Kayla so I am kinda alone now." I said

" You're not you have me an the guys and Jenna. Also what I am I going to do if you aren't yelling at me and crying." I chuckled at his words.

" I love you much Hayes. thanks for everything." I said an attacked him with a hug.

" Love you too. Just promise that you won't do anything dumb. you have to stay strong for your family." He said and I nodded. We stayed upstairs and watched a movie so I could keep my mind off my parents.

"Mikayla your phones flashing." Hayes said to me without looking . I grabbed my phone to answer without looking who it was.

"Hello." I said

"Halu babe." it was Shawn.

" Um Shawn sorry but this isn't a good time ." I said into the phone, you could hear him sigh.

"Mikayla shhh." Hayes said to me and I was hoping he would stay quite.

"Oh I see why it's not a good time. I am just going to call Angelia she wanted to hang out anyway." Shawn said then hung up. I gasped at his change of mood and Hayes paused the movie.

" What's wrong?" He asked

"Shawn is being and ass and honestly I can't have this right now." I said putting my hands up. It was around two a.m. that I had fallen a sleep.

Hayes P.O.V

Mikayla had fallen asleep on my chest. I ran my hand through her hair and stared at her beauty. Her lips were a dark pink color and her body seemed so small. I leaned down and whispered in her ear.

"Mikayla I am truly falling for you" I said then kissed her lips. I was falling for her.

Mikayla P.O.V

Little did Hayes know I heard him and felt the same way.
