Brooklyn looked at Mekhi and turned her nose up, "Why do you eat like that."
"Like what?"
She took a sip of her drink, "With yo' mouth open."
Mekhi sucked his teeth, "Why you watchin' me eat, that's some weird shit, Brooklyn."
"You makin' sounds and shit," she rolled her eyes, "got no home training."
"Yeen bout' to sit here and bully me."
Brooklyn shrugged and ate some of her fries, "You'll get over it."
, "After this, you gon' be done?"
She shook her head, "Nah, I need to go to a few more stores."
"Man," he smacked his lips, "I ain't bring you to the mall for yo' ass to go to every damn store."
"Fuck we here for then?"
He took a sip of his drink, "Cause you actin' like you mad at a nigga."
"I am," she sat back on the seat, "you still haven't told me what happened."
"It's a lot of shit goin' on Brooklyn, too much to explain."
She rolled her eyes, "So you lied, you tol' me you would tell me."
"I said I would make it up to you," he shrugged, "why do it matter? shit done with."
"Fine," she huffed, "but if I ask you somethin' else, would you tell me?"
"If it don't involve that shit, yeah."
She looked at him, "What happened wit' you and Von?"
He sucked his teeth, "Ain't shit happen, that nigga just be on my dick."
Brooklyn crossed her arms, "But why?"
"Ion know," he put his food away in the bag, "You ready?"
"You love changing the subject," she picked her food up, throwing it in the trash near them, "I hate y'all."
