Brooklyn walked in the apartment, seeing her friend, Kaylyn staring at her.
Kaylyn crossed her arms, and tapped her foot, "now Ms. Brooklyn, where the fuck was you at?"
"My bad girl.. I got caught up."
"Mhmmm, prolly with that nigga," Kaylyn sucked her teeth, "dumb ass, I know your ass ain't go back to him."
"I didn't.." Brooklyn looked over to Mekhi who had a mad look on his face, "so how was your flight?"
"Girl," Kaylyn waved her off, "don't start wit' me."
Brooklyn checked the time on her phone, "well go get dressed, we meeting up with Sanai and Aaliyah to get some food then I got to go handle something."
"Alright," Kaylyn looked at Brooklyn's outfit, "you putting some else on?"
She sucked her teeth and nodded, "yes.."
Kaylyn looked at Mekhi before grabbing her bag and going into the room.
"Khiiii"
Mekhi sucked his teeth, "what you want Brook."
"I can't say hi?"
"How you forget yo friend was coming?"
She shrugged, "I didn't forget, just lost track of time," she looked at him, "I was out with Sanai, Kaylyn don't know what she talking bout."
"I don't care what you do Brooklyn, that shit don't got none to do wit' me," he shrugged, "as long as you not bringin' that nigga here."
"I wasn't even with him," she rolled her eyes, "we ain't together."
He nodded, ignoring her, "How long you plan on stayin' here?"
Brooklyn looked at him and raised her eyebrows, "damn Khi, you tryna kick me out?"
"No, but you staying here rent free right now, you got to get a job or somethin."
