My eyes opened to the sound of a twig snapping.

I turn to face the sound to see a tallish figure with long hair starring at me, she stood still as if she was petrified so I built the courage to speak up and ask "where am I?"

I got off the ground and looked her in her eyes.

"Boiling isles" the woman said still not moving.

"Ah right this is a prank" I said with an attitude crossing my arms and turning to face away

"This isn't a prank.. where do you live kid? These woods are dangerous with witches and ghouls and perverts." The woman said

"Witches and ghouls? Now you're really trying to prank me it isn't going to work" I said crossing my arms "but you believe the whole pervert in the forest?" The woman asked.

"Of course I'm one of them" I laughed to my own joke.

"Very funny, now cmon I'll take you home" the woman insisted

"Hell no! I'm not going back!" I argued.

"Besides if this is the 'Boiling isles' I wouldn't be living here I'm from earth" crossing my arms not trying to leave.

"Earth? Oh that Realm! Oh how did you get here kid?" The woman asked walking into the light of the sun so I'm able to see all her facial features.

One sharp golden tooth that stuck out from her red lips, her hair was a old white as if she was in her 70's

"Well if you don't want to go back you can come with me since you'll have no place to live.. or of course I can let you here and die so I can harvest your bones and organs to sell in the market." The woman said.

"How do I know if I go with you I'll be safe from you?" I raised my brow.

"It was a joke I don't do that I just steal junk to sell bones and organs aren't my type of thing" the woman laughed with a snort.

"Okay kid I'm not the most trustworthy looking girl but hey you're a weirdo and I'm a weirdo is weirdos must stick together cause y'know they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" the woman said.

Thinking about it long term I would need a place to stay.. "fine I'll come with you but no funny stuff" I threatened "fine with me" the woman shrugged.

"Let's go then, oh I forgot to mention my name is Eda.. Eda the owl lady" Eda said softly while she directed me to her home. "What's yours kid?" Eda asked "what's what?" I asked looking up at her "your name I was asking for your name." Eda said looking forward not paying attention to my gaze.

"Oh right.. my name is Luz" I awkwardly said.

"Luz huh? Alright Luz welcome to the boiling isles don't let people get to you there is thieves everywhere in this.. titan forsaken land of course I am sorta one but not to brag I'm just a witch who does things her own way" Eda told me about herself.

"A thief? And a witch? You must be a bad girl then huh?" I asked

"Don't say that it sounds weird but yes I am a.. bad girl.. ew I can't believe I said that" Eda groaned.

(Ooh she's a bad girl huh ;).. damn I got that lonely that I'm gonna simp for Eda..)

A little bit later

We arrived to a house in a clearing of the forest it was beautiful and had a good view of ocean.

"So kid can you tell me how you got here?" Eda asked as she walked to the front door and opened it.

"Please luz you've gotten to weird! I love you baby I really do but if the school keeps calling me about your problems child protective services will be called!"

"I'm sending you to camp wether you like it or not!"

"Mom please don't let me go I don't want to go! I hear the camp counselors there are crazy!"

"I do not care, I want my baby.. and if this is the only way then so be it! I am not letting people take my child and bring them back to that dead beat of a father of yours!"

"Maybe he'll treat me better than you!"

"Hey kid?" Eda said waving her hand in front of me "you good kid you kinda fainted there I was beginning to think you died." Eda stated

"Oh no I'm not dead"
