It was Monday morning, my sisters voice wakes me up.
"Selina,selinaaa!" She whines,shaking me.
"What what?" I sounded irritated,I wanted sleeping more.
"I thought you wanted visiting campus today,for Biology 01 lectures" she reminds me,
"Yeah that's true,but I could cover it up without stressing" I turn,using my pillow to cover my head.
"Because you're so brilliant doesn't mean you won't fail a course" she walks,bringing her clothes from our dresser.
"Take that back" the sleep is gone now.
She laughs "I take it back"
I got up,making my way to my mom and dads room.
I knock before using the bell on the door. No response I decided on entering inside.
My dads on he's reading table,he's sorting some papers.
"Hey dad, good morning" I smile,walking and taking a sit on he's lap.
He's smile lighting up as he carefully arrange the last paper before paying full attention to me.
"Good morning Selina" he greets, he's hand brushing off the hair that fell to my face.
"Where's mom?" I ask him.
"Ohh she left early"
"She had some clients,that needed information about the visa travel" my dad tells me, gently urging me to stand up so he could get busy again.
My parents are literally so busy,they keep up with work every single time.
I stand up,finding a place to seat on he's bed.
"I'll be going for classes today" I fall flat on the giant bed.
"I thought schools on strike for a while" my dad faces me,before bringing out his apple laptop from the third dresser in he's reading table.
He puts it on,waiting for its booting process.
"Yeah,but it's a free lecture" I say.
"Ohh okay,you can go then."
"Just be home before six," my dad warns
"Yeah,yeah I know"
I was always allowed to leave the house but was expected to be back before six. And I kept to this time as long as I could remember being a teenager was like. not like I was any less.
"I'll be going then" I stood up,placing a peck on he's forehead.
"Have a great day in school today" my dad says.
"Have a great day at the office" I beam before walking out.
By the time I got back my sister was done bathing,so I walked into the bathroom to start a bathe.
"I'll be toasting some bread this morning for daddy" my sister shouts,so I could hear her since the running water covered my ears in the bathroom.
"Would you like some for breakfast" she asks.
I don't answer, but I know she'll take it as a yes.
I hear the door close then I knew she was out already.
I had to manage this ten minutes if I wanted to get to school on time.
I got my mouth brushed, before sliding to have my body washed.
I hum different combos of Justin Bieber's fav collection as the cold water hit my shoulders.

I walk out of the bathroom some minutes later. I went on with wearing this kiddie jean, with a sweater.
I found a knicker that fitted with it then headed downstairs.
I grab my home made toasted bread, my sister made before leaving.
Stephanie would be in school would she? Maybe not.
I get a beep notification from WhatsApp and when I check the group is holding a video call.
I ignorantly click to join.
Our four faces covering the entire screen in tiny boxes.
The giggles and high pitch laughs made me to pull out an earpiece. I didn't want their loud ass's out the street.
"Heyyy" I smile to them
"Selina just joined" Asher says,
I smile,still walking to find a bolt. What's wrong with this morning?
"You guys showing up for the class in hall3?"I ask,crossing the road.
"Nah,schools stressing me the fuck out this days" Debby spits,as Asher supports her opinion.
"Oh well,I'm the odd one then" I sigh. I'm still trying to find a cab. goodness.
"That's if you refuse an invite," Stephanie beams.
She's always bright,and I guess that must be one of the reasons Michael chose to be with her. They're so serious in the whole relationship thing that they'd be actual couples.
"Invite?" I raise a brow,
"Yeah,it's a sleep over. A hangover thingy" Asher tags along,adjusting her eye glasses.
"Whose?" I sounded excited buh in real life I wasn't.
I knew I would be screwed if I stayed away from home later than normal.
"Mine!!!!" Debby chimes.
"It will be holding in the wood house we built together last year. A sleep over for the four of us" she laughs.
I stay silent. I don't think my dad would approve.
Just as I was considering my plan,my desired cab came packing.
"You coming right,Selina?" Debby asks,her eyes fixing on me,actually the three of them.
"I'll be there" my best friend,Stephanie urges me.
"Fine,will talk to you guys later" I say as I heard them squirm before I hung up.
This would be the first hangover I'm agreeing to spend with them in all our four years of friendship. I don't blame them for being so surprised. excited even.
I change the music from Justin Bieber,I go down to Bunaboy's album. I enjoy the music,staring outside the window.
Hangover tonight huh? I smirk,asking myself.
*It wouldn't be bad,and nothing absurd will happen.*My conscience tells me as I nod to the music.
"Ohhhhh well." I exhale.
