Crepe wasn't there the following day, making people worry. It was even more worrisome with Midnight's message.
"There's a really powerful signal on Vlem Street." Cedar's heart dropped as he locked eyes with Blake, who froze.
"What kind?"
"Manipulative. No one's turned to it. I got a headache going near it." Blake trembled.
"Oh shit-" Cedar gulped.
"We need all hands on deck. This is what we were waiting for. Someone go get the others."

Crepe's disappearance confirmed it. No one could intercept it without losing grip or the target. Pink trembled as she stood in front of the gates. Purple had locked it down while they were waiting for the signal. She gulped as she closed her eyes, back to the signal, before activating her aura. It was nothing compared to the one coming, but she would try.
Forest aimed from afar, eyeing the target that couldn't reach him. So when the auras clashed, he chanted.
"Form the winds and capture thy aura. Seek the weakening of strength and open the cage."
He then fired as Pink took a knee from the struggle. The blue rose, with a hushed flight, flew gracefully through the aura and hit its target. The stronger aura faded, giving the group enough time to get to Crepe. The smaller boy latched onto Scarlet while Cedar banished the witch. Pink collapsed into Purple's arms as he gave a thumbs up to Forest.
