Maya smiled, watching her Goddaughter holding her daughter. Penelope had just came back from spending time with Lucas's parents in Texas when she had given birth.

It had been a little over a week since Josh, Riley and her mother had let her know how worried they were about her. She was still struggling like she did last night but today seemed to be a good day and she was hoping it would be the first of many.

"Careful," Riley instructed. "Remember she is still really little like Aussie was so you have to be extra careful with her."

Maya had to stop herself from filming this moment for YouTube or posting it on social media, but instead she decided to take a few pictures to remember this moment and to show off to family. She was adjusting to what to share and what to keep private when it came to her daughter. It was so easy for her to pick up the camera record videos and take pictures of her daughter. Her camera roll was proof. She knew she could easily let Lynnie take over her content because she always wanted to share things about her because of how cute she is but she wanted to keep her social media about her and not her daughter. She had no intention on becoming a mommy vlogger and share too much about her daughter, and she also knew Josh wasn't comfortable with the idea of their daughter being out there too much.

"Penny, who do you think Lynnie looks like?" Riley asked, carefully taking a seat next to her daughter.

"Uncle Joshie," the little girl answered quickly and proudly while keeping her eyes on the baby in her arms.

Maya gasped, faking surprise, "You think she looks like Joshie and not me?" she pouted, dramatically, pouting out her bottom lip

Penny looked up at Maya before changing her answer, "No she looks like Aunt Maya."

Maya and Riley chuckled.

"It's okay. I think she looks like Joshie too."

Riley nodded agreeing. "But I think she is going to have lighter hair," she said, gently rubbing the infant's head.

The three sat together before Penny got bored and wanted to watch cartoons. Riley put a blanket on the floor by the tv as Maya made a bottom for Lynnie and the two met back on the couch.

"What time is?" Maya asked, as she curled her knee and her feet rested on her coffee table. She adjusted her daughter to be more comfortable.

"1:42"

Maya's eyes went wide, "Can you please hand me my phone," she asked nodding her head towards her phone on the counter.

Riley nodded, getting the phone before handing it to Maya. She knew why her best friend needed her phone. It had been going on for years between her best friend and uncle.

Maya adjusted her daughter so she could send the quick emoji at the right time as soon it hit 1:43 she sent the two red heart emojis to her husband.

Riley smiled, playfully rolling her eyes. "You never have told me why you and Josh send heart emojis to each other at such an odd time."

Maya smiled feeling her phone vibrate seeing Josh sent her back the two heart emojis. "Because," she finally turned her attention from her phone to her best friend causing Riley to raise an eyebrow. "It's special to us," she continue, her eyes going back down to her daughter. "There is one letter in I, four in love and three in you so 1:43 means "I love you" to us and we use to only send one heart emoji but now we send two heart emojis to each other because one is for Lynnie and whomever has Lynnie is sending the other heart back for her."

"You guys are so cute it's sickening," Riley's heart melted at the explanation finally knowing why that specific time was so special to them and made her a little jealous her and Lucas never came up with anything like that and it made her heart hurt at where their relationship was currently at.

Maya playfully stuck out her tongue before giving Riley a small smile. It was then she noticed the pain in her best friend's eyes. "How are things going with you and Lucas?" she asked, gently.

"The same. We are still separated."

Maya nodded, already knowing that news.

"But now legally and we've decided to sell the house."

Maya's mouth dropped opened at the new news. "When did this happen?"

"Last week," Riley answered.

Maya shook her head, shocked. She felt guilty she hadn't been there for her friend like she should. "Are you guys..." she began to ask but couldn't get the question fully out.

"No," Riley shook her head, knowing what her best friend was asking. "As of right now we are not getting a divorce. We are still going to counselling and we haven't decided what is going to happen or where we are going to live if we get back together but I've been staying here in the city at my parents and he has been staying on the base or at friends' houses so the house was sitting empty and we thought it was best to sell it and when we decide to get back together we will start somewhere new."

Maya nodded, "It will be a fresh start."

Riley nodded.

"You know I'm support you in whatever you decide with Lucas."

"I know."

The two best friends gave each other a small smile, knowing they have each other's back through thick and thin.
