Chapter 2: Mesprit's Curiosity

"Figured I'd find you out here." Volo said. You stood up after the Shinx took off. "Can't go to either one of the clans, can you?" Volo asks. You shook your head. "It's entirely hopeless." you said. Volo nods in understanding. "So it is," he said, "but no need to worry. I know of a place I can take you. Come with me." He guides you to follow him.

You and Volo approach the Ancient Retreat, where they were met with a woman with a black dress and white hair. "Mistress Cogita," Volo said, "I have brought somebody here. This one here has gone through a hardship and could use your help." "For the last time," Cogita chimes, "there's no 'mistress'. Just Cogita." Then she looks at you. "So, kicked out of the Galaxy Team, were you? Due to how the sky became dark? That's unfortunate. Perhaps I can give you a task."

After being given a task to bind the world by closing the rift, Adaman and Irida showed up. You were then given the option whom to choose to go with you and Volo to visit the three lakes around the region to gather pieces for the Red Chain. Of course, you chose Adaman. He was the one to give you the Celestica Flute in the first place. And it kinda turned you on when he called himself a 'strappin' young man'.

So you, Adaman and Volo stopped at Lake Verity. You pulled out your Arc Phone and an entrance appeared within the rock. You and Adaman went inside to encounter an alpha Goodra. You took down the Pokémon with no problems, then the lake guardian, Mesprit, appears. It talks to you, telepathically, Your feelings. Share them with me. "They're yours." you tell it. How did you feel when you fell out of the sky? it asks. "I was surprised." you said. How did you feel when you were excluded from the village? Mesprit asks. "Pretty bitter." you answer. How do you feel about the man standing behind you? It asks, curiously. You were about to answer, but you paused. You were not expecting it to ask that. You had no choice but to confess. "I like him," you said, "he has been super helpful and gentle with me. He's even taken care of me when I was injured. And uhhh...." you paused to look over at Adaman, who had wide eyes as he hears you talk, then you continue, "....he's really sexy. Like he was made for me. So I just more than like him; I'm crazy about him. Just want to do all sorts of things with him."
