Volo turned. He was not what you thought he was all along. He commanded a battle with you. Once after all his Pokémon were beaten, Giratina appears from a dark void behind Volo. You still had some Dark- and Fairy-type Pokémon alive and were about to face Giratina. But so suddenly, you felt a wave of nausea hit you. You could barely command your Pokémon to attack. You put one hand to your stomach and the other up to your mouth. Volo notices.

"Wait, stop!" Volo stops Giratina before it made a move. He could tell you were gonna throw up. Quickly, you moved aside, leaned over the side of the dais and threw up. "Shit!" Volo grimaced watching you get sick. He slowly approaches you and puts a hand on your back. "Are you okay?" he asks. You stand up straight and shoo his hand away from you. "Leave me alone," you groaned, "I feel like shit right now and here you are trying to attack me! You set me into a trap! How could you!?" "I'm sorry." Volo said. He turned to see Giratina, but it was gone. Volo put both his hands on his head. "No! No, Giratina, why!?!? Why would you leave!?!?" He couldn't do much else, but just abandon the Spooky Plate he had and leave. Your Celestica Flute then transformed into the Azure Flute inside your satchel.

You walked to the base camp by Moonview Arena and lay yourself down in the tent. Professor Laventon notices and asks, "My girl, are you okay? Did something happen? Volo told me something before saying we are to never see him again. Is there something else?" You rolled over so you were facing the back of the tent and started to weep. Laventon then had a concerned look on his face. "Oh, dear. It was but a bad situation, it seems."

"Professor!" Adaman came running up the hill to the base camp. "Professor, what was that shadow? It came from up here!" Then he sees you crying in the tent and immediately approaches you, kneeling down to you. "(Y/N)?" He gently puts a hand on your shoulder. "What happened, sweetheart? Are you okay?" You had no choice but to roll over to look at your boyfriend with tears and eyeliner staining your face. Adaman takes his thumb and wipes them away. "Don't cry, honey. Shhh...Don't cry. Just talk to me, please." You took a breath to calm yourself so you can talk to Adaman.

"Volo's not who I thought he was. He tried to beat me in a Pokémon battle; using Giratina to take me down." Adaman's eyes widened. You continued, "But he didn't do much. I got sick up there."
