i know we feel bad sometimes
and i can't fix it with rhythm and rhymes
don't fake your emotions like you are a mime
and for you i'll try until the end of time

you're a star, baby
in my heart and my eyes
they say having fun makes time fly
it's been two whole years since i've made you mine

things will get better even though it may seem
like you're giving up hope on all of your dreams
you still work hard to think you won't achieve
you are so important to me

pain is temporary but it takes a while
for all bad things to be replaced with a smile
but i'll be here for the good days and bad
you're the best thing that i've ever had

but i'm only 24
