Ink got back up as he spewed the last bits of this disgusting, oily and slimy paint.
WHY DID YOU EVEN TRY TO DRINK THAT ?!?! I TOLD YOU IT'S TO FIGHT !
"I know... I was just curious."
...You are irretrievable.
"Yeah I get that a lot. Anyways..."
Ink put down the bucket of dark acrylic paint he had just stolen, and dipped Broomie into it. "...what can I do with that ?"
I don't know. It's up to you to find out.
"So somehow you know that certain substances can be exploited for new powers, and where to find them, but not what they do ?"
It's more complicated than that. I know they can do that because you once did too.
Ink froze. "I did ?"
Even if you forget things, I can still see every last bit of your memories. Indeed you once knew about that, but chose not to use other stuff because you valued paint too much.
"Well that sounds like me for sure." concluded Ink as he got back to work and spread a mild amount of paint on the floor with his brush. "Hmm... thicker, ore resistant it seems, and more elastic as well..." He put his foot on it, and watched as it slightly slid forward. "...And kinda slippery too."
Interesting. Think you could get something out of that ?
"Actually... I think I might." he answered as he swinged Broomie, projecting more paint on a straight line forward. He then started backing off, before suddenly running towards the line, and jumping on it. Pushed by the momentum, he slid on the line for multiple feet before finally stopping. "I had found ways to surf on ink before, but this is much more efficient !"
Anything else ?
Ink added more paint on the tip of Broomie, and watched as it gathered into one large drop, which dropped on the groud without breaking apart, and wiggled before finally stopping. "Slimy paint." he said as he kicked it, and watched it bounce back against the ground.
Oh, we could SO annoy people with that.
"You don't say" replied the protector with a smile.
Meanwhile in the Anti-Void...
Error suddenly got a spine-chilling feeling as he was munching on stolen dumplings. He stopped, swallowed and looked around, half-expecting to see that Fresh!Ink monstrosity appear, but nothing. Curious. As he sat back down, he remembered that that kind of sensation could also mean someone was thinking about you, and he wondered who would even think about someone like him.
