The party that night was as expected, to be honest, I got incredibly drunk and partied with anyone that wanted to come out. Which fortunately for me, was basically everyone. When I woke up with an extremely sore head the next morning with no recollection of what had happened the night I had a moment of panic which subsided as I felt Max's regular breathing on the back of my neck, the sunlight from the not quite closed windows shining through and causing me a sincere amount of pain.
But it was a Monday of a back-to-back so regardless of my race win...I had to get myself sorted once more for Monaco. I had well and truly broken my no drinking a week before a race rule last night, as everyone insisted, not that I fought hard against it. I was relieved when I checked my phone and there were no panicked messages from Liv about stories and also happy when I saw that it was eight am. While that meant I had only had three hours of sleep, the sooner I got Max and I up, the sooner we could get back to Monaco and settle in for a nice hungover day in one of our own beds.
I turned over, which was a struggle because of Max's iron grip around my waist and smiled at his sleepy face, which I can't lie...looked a little worse for wear. I kissed gently along his chiselled jawline and smiled to myself when he shifted slightly in his sleep and let out a breathy sigh that bordered a moan. I carried on, moving down from his jawline to his neck and to the delicate spot of skin I had found right by his collarbone, stopping for a moment to give it extra attention and was relieved when this paid off and his arms tightened around me, a more serious shift in the bed and he tilted his head down to where I was in his arms.
Pure bliss was all I felt as I tilted mine up to meet his and we shared a sweet kiss, perfect in how simple and every day it was. When I pulled away his eyes finally fluttered open and he looked lovingly down at me. "Hello my little champion," he mutters, Dutch accent thick as it always is first thing in the morning, and it sends a blush quickly across my cheeks almost as powerful as the smile that the sentence elicits. "What time is it?"
"Eight," I say quietly and he groans, mashing his head back into the pillow in an effort to return to his asleep spot but simultaneously giving me total access to his neck once more which I take advantage of as I bring my hands between us until one is looped over his shoulder and I can draw distracting patterns on his back in an effort to keep him awake.
"You're the devil," he mutters as he shifts his head once more, blinking his tired eyes open and I smile evilly at him. "My devil," he says more resolutely as he brings his face towards mine to steal another kiss and I let out a light moan of surprise when he flips me so I'm on my back and he's holding himself on top of me, nestling himself in-between my legs and giving me flashbacks to our private celebrations from last night when we got into the room. He does similar to what I did and pulls away from the kiss, opting to move down my neck, then chest and kisses down my stomach until he reaches the inside of my leg and makes me gasp as I ache for him to move just slightly to the left.
"Max," I moan out in frustration as he purposefully keeps missing the spot I want him as his hands reach up my stomach to my chest as he teases me.
"What do you want Ellie?" He asks and my eyes open wide as I look down from where he is in between my legs, his eyes bright blue in the morning light. "Do you want a reward for your efforts yesterday? For your judgement to stay out when the team told you to come in? For your great start and overtake on Carlos? For your strategy? For driving your Red Bull into first place?" He asks and I don't even have the time to be annoyed that he seems to know how much I love being praised and how this is a narcissistic turn-on for me. However, I get the feeling that the last part was as much a turn-on for him as it was for me.
I'm unable to answer but I know that my swift nod along with eyes filled with lust does the trick as he lowers his head and gives me the release I need.
