it was the next day and to georges surprise ash actually slept at their place due to dream and ash talking and catching up for way too long. of course george was glad everything went well and ash understood why he did what he did but dream and ash knowing each other was weird, he couldn't deny that. what if that meant they were gonna start being friends again? and if so, would they meet and george would tag along? or would he just stay home while they met up? it surely would be weird either way and even though george tried to not think so much about, that didn't work all to well especially when ash was literally sleeping in the next room. george went to sleep way earlier then both of them which resulted with him being awake earlier too. it was 8am and he slowly got out of bed, careful to not wake dream. he decided it would be best to go take a shower, maybe that would clear his head a bit. he grabbed some fresh clothes and headed to the bathroom. there he quickly got out of his clothes and turned the shower on. it was refreshing but did not clear his head at all. he just kept on thinking about what would happen now. he still needed to talk to dream after all. but now nothing really would stand in the way of them becoming boyfriends right? when he was done showering he quickly dried himself and put on his fresh clean clothes. for whatever reason he gave himself a small quick pep talk in the mirror before he left the bathroom again and made his way into the kitchen. to his surprise dream was already making breakfast but when he looked at the time he realized he totally lost track of time, it now being 9:24am. "george! good morning" dream smiled sweetly but still sounded way to energetic so early in the morning. "morning" george said with a small smile before sitting down at the small table in the kitchen.

"ash already left actually, he wanted to say goodbye to you too but didn't wanna disturb your shower" george just hummed. he wasn't mad ash left already it was probably better like that but it still bothered him he didn't say goodbye. he could've just knocked and a simple bye would've been enough. georges thoughts were interrupted by a plate being shoved infront of him. dream sat down infront of george and quietly began eating. george wasn't really hungry but appreciated dream making food for him so he ate it either way. "any plans for today?" george asked before taking his last bite from his food and looked at dream. "my parents asked me to come over for dinner, i haven't replied yet, wanted to ask if you wanna come with me first." the blonde boy said smiling like an idiot. george didn't knew what to say. the last time he saw dreams parents he was probably high as fuck and didn't leave a good impression. he knew if he wanted things to work out again he would have to face dreams parents at some point again but they weren't even dating again and his parents surely hated him after everything that happend. as if dream could read georges mind he quickly began to speak again. "and don't worry george they don't hate you or anything they knew you were struggling aaaand you could make a new good impression hm?" george nodded, he still wasn't sure. "but we aren't even dating again or anything wouldn't it be weird?"

dream sighed. "george you've met my parents way before we were dating the first time and if thats what bothers you, we can simply change that." george raised a brow at him waiting for dream to say more. "do you wanna be my boyfriend again? now that everything is sorted out?" george scoffed. "thats how you ask me? at your kitchen table over our finished breakfast? how romantic" dream let out a small wheeze. "so is that a yes or a no?" george smiled slightly and obviously said yes. it was what he wanted since he stepped onto dreams door step some time ago so why would he say no.

their happy mood was interrupted shortly after though by getting spam texted by sapnap.

confused dream clicked on the link and all the happiness and calmness he was feeling was immediately drained by the thing he saw. "whats wrong?" george asked clueless to what was going on. dream didn't respond though. he was still in shock. he slowly pocketing his phone and began to do the dishes trying to distract himself from what's happening.

"this is fine." he told himself. "everythings going to be alright." obviously still confused george tried again asking whats going on. still no answer from dream.  by the time dream wanted to pick up georges plate, the brunette noticed dream was shaking. he quickly took dreams hand stood up to face him. "hey dream whats wrong?" george could see tears forming in dreams eyes and immediately hugged him. "its gonna be alright okay? but to help you i need to know what happened" dream nodded still unable to form words and unlocked his phone to finally show george what was going on. when george saw the tweet he was confused as he thought it was just a picture of dream sitting at a bar, but as he looked longer he knew. you could clearly see dream having a small bag with something white in his hands. someone must've saw him that night. and as we all know twitter will go crazy about everything and a famous streamer and youtuber with drugs in his hands was the perfect thing for a new scandal.

"okay hey it's alright" george took the phone and turned it off before putting it on the table. "we can tell them its mine, you just picked it up for me or something, its no secret i was doing drugs so its no big deal"

"but my family and i dont want people to th-"
dream was immediately cut off by george. "no
its okay we can explain things to your family later and i dont care about what people think okay? i will tell them it was mine" dream just nodded. he was never so thankful to have george in his life.

i'm sure many people have seen the picture of dream with that little bag in his hands. i'm just here to inform you all yes that was dream in the picture, but he did not consume any substances he was merely there to get it for me. i will not say anything more to this topic and we would all appreciate if you all wouldn't just make up assumptions no matter what it might look like. thank you.

george almost immediately sent out the tweets and after that also turned his phone off. he knew he would get lots of hate for that statement but he really didn't care if that would mean it would keep dream safe. especially with dreams still not very stable mental health.

later that day everything calmed down a bit. they decided to not go to dream's parents and instead just stay home and watch movies. they decided to just watch some comedy movies to lighten the mood a little.
