The rest of Kaitlyn's first week went by smoothly. It was Sunday. Kaitlyn woke up early to get ready for church. Once she finished getting ready, she headed downstairs. She made her and her uncle some eggs for breakfast.

"Good morning, Kaitlyn." Charlie greeted, few minutes later.

"Morning." Kaitlyn said as she poured herself a glass of orange juice.

"Just the way your father made them." Charlie said, referring to how she made her eggs. Poached on toast. Kaitlyn gave her uncle a small wistful smile.

"I cooked some scrambled eggs for you." Kaitlyn said.

"Thank you." Charlie said. "Do you want me to go with you to church?"

"I appreciate the offer, but you don't have to." Kaitlyn said. "I know it's not your thing. You enjoy your fishing trip."

"Are you sure?" Charlie asked. "

Yes." Kaitlyn said. "I made you a sandwich, too."

"Thanks, Kaitlyn." Charlie said.

"You're welcome." Kaitlyn said.

Charlie finished eating and grabbed his things. "I'll see you later, Kaitlyn." Charlie said.

"Bye Charlie." Kaitlyn said.

Charlie left the house and Kaitlyn put the dishes in the sink. She'd wash them later. Right now, she had to get ready and get to church.

Once she was ready, Kaitlyn got in her car and headed to the church. She thought the service was nice.

Once the service ended, Kaitlyn decided to look around town and do the grocery shopping. She had wrote a list that morning and Charlie had said that there was cash in the cookie jar that she could use.

As she looked around the town, she realized how much she missed the small quaint town of Forks.

Later that day, Kaitlyn was back at the house. She had put the groceries away. As well as starting some of the laundry. And she was now doing the dishes and thinking about what to make for dinner. It was then that the phone started ringing. Kaitlyn dried her hands on the towel and answered it.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi Kaitlyn. It's Charlie." came from the other line.

"Oh. Hey Charlie." Kaitlyn greeted. "I was just trying to decide what to make for dinner tonight."

"Actually, Billy Black invited us and the Clearwater's over for dinner." Charlie said. "I was calling to see if you wanted to come."

"Sure." Kaitlyn said. She wrote down directions to La Push and the Blacks house as Charlie gave them to her. "I'll be there soon." Kaitlyn said before hanging up the phone. She grabbed her keys and headed out to her car.

When she got to the Blacks' house, she got out of her car and knocked on the door.

A young boy answered it. "Hello?" He said.

"Hi. I'm Kaitlyn." Kaitlyn said. "My uncle Charlie told me to come for dinner."

"Oh right. Come on in." The boy said. "I'm Jacob Black."

"It's nice to see you again, Jacob." Kaitlyn said.

"You too." Jacob said.

"Follow me." Kaitlyn followed Jacob to the backyard where there was a group of people.

"Hi Kaitlyn." Charlie said. "You remember Billy and Jacob and the Clearwaters', right?"

"Yeah." Kaitlyn said as she took a seat. "It's good to see you guys again."

"And you as well, Kaitlyn." Sue said.

Kaitlyn enjoyed the rest of the evening catching up with everyone.
