I realized that the day I would post this normally is Christmas....this chapter is to depressing and traumatizing for that day....therefore...here you go. Please read the warning.

Trigger warning! Izuku's coming out story. Inspired by the song "Holy water" by Noah Davis.
Also, Izuku's father is an a-hole. Things he says can be/are triggering.

Izuku barely touched his food. He ate a few bites at most. He dreaded getting to the house. He was scared to share this piece of him.

He gave his phone to Rei just in case he would go into a full in panic. Only his mother could calm him down.

Rei was the closest thing he had to a mother figure in Japan. He was thankful for her, but she knew the secret that he swore not to tell anyone.

She knew the truth behind his quirk. Something so rare and mysterious that anyone would question him right away, but she didn't. She didn't question his motives. She was just proud of him.

She was proud of her children.

Izuku was happy to have her in his life. He already had a mother that he loved deeply, but Rei was an important parental figure to him.

The family got out of the car and walked inside in silence.

Izuku started to play with the ends of his hair, nervous to share everything.

"Do you want to go in the living room?" Rei asked, placing her hand gently on Izuku's arm.

"That would be the most convenient. "

Shoto felt guilty for pressuring Izuku. With the month that he had lived with them, he learned that Izuku was secretive. He wasn't quiet and he spoke his mind, but his past was off limits.

But he pushed that limit. He wanted to know the details, but he feared the details that he wanted to know so much.

No one said a word, as they all sat down in the different couches and/or chairs in the family room.

Izuku took in a deep breath. It was the first time he was saying the story out loud to a group of people.

"If it gets to hard to talk about, you can stop. Your mental health is the most important," Rei comforted him.

"Thank you, but I think it's best if everyone in this room knows the truth about me. It may not be all, but it'll give insight on who I am, and why I am the way I am."

Izuku took another deep breath, convincing himself that he could do it.

——

Izuku had put on a tight fit muscle shirt for his last minute outing. His ex girlfriend, Cecelia, had asked him to this wheel on her first date with a new guy.

She trusted Izuku entirely. With that trust that was never broken, Izuku had immediately agreed to be her bodyguard.

He valued the safety of his friends.

He put on his jewelry out of habit, before walking out his room.

"Where are you going? Do you have a date that you didn't tell me about?" His mother, Inko, folded laundry in the living room of the apartment.

"Cecilia asked if I could be her bodyguard for a first date. I agreed to make sure the guy isn't a creep."

Inko smiled at her son, going back to folding the clothes she had in the basket near her.

"Your papa doesn't come home till late tonight so you should be fine," she insured him.

"Thanks mama. I promise that I'll tell him about me being gay one day. It's just finding the perfect time and way. You know how strict he is."
