In....out....in....out....

The small breaths of air was the only thing Izuku kept his mind on. The rest of the world around him was blurred together in mush.

Toga left a while ago, but he didn't even hear her leave.

His mind and body were moving at different speeds. He knew he spoke to her, but that was it.

Time was an illusion in that moment.

He wished that his fear was something normal like flying or tight spaces, but water pooled up enough to cover his face did the trick.

It was one of his weaknesses, his father's control over him being the main one.

The two combined only made matters worst. Tomura was climbing the list, joining the ranks.

Izuku hoped that he would see the bad in what his father's actions, but you can't force a horse to drink water.

Tomura was All for One's legacy. He was his son, not Izuku.

He wasn't going to risk their relationship just for a boy he barely knew.

Time moved differently to him. The world moved fast while he moved slow.

He didn't know that the sun was going to rise in a few hours.

The door creaked open. Normally, Izuku would have shot his head up, but he was too far into his own mind to budge.

Footsteps starting to get closer to him...words started.

Izuku didn't comprehend them at first.

He felt a pain in his side, as if he was poked by a needle.

The pain grew and grew. His mind let him escape for a few moments.

His eyes met another's.

Izuku glanced downwards to see what was poking him and was causing the pain.

A dagger stuck out of him...

He fought his mind from taking over again...he had to remember training that he learned a while back. As long as the weapon stayed in place he would be okay. He just had to hope the person across from him didn't know that.

"Are you sure we can trust her?" Kegio asked Rody was were standing near each other, ready to head face first into the mission at hand.

"Pino recognized her. I don't see or feel exactly what she does, but I get feelings from her, if that makes any sorts of sense."

"It doesn't," Kegio put blankly. "But if it makes sense to you then all is well, right?"

Rody gave a soft chuckle.

Kegio looked over to the woman with green hair who also stood in the room. She wasn't going with the heroes like Rody, but she still wanted to be there for the before and after.

"Ms. Inko," Kegio walked up to the woman.

Her green eyes were larger than life, but were slightly puffy. She had been crying.

"Kegio," she hugged the man. This was the first time the met face to face, but she recognized the voice in a instant.

It was the voice who cared for her son while he was there. Yes, Rei helped out, but Kegio understood the scars of the past better than her.

" I promise, I will save Izuku from that man, and then from himself," he hugged the woman tighter.

Roro and lala were sound asleep back at Ashido's place, not letting anything bother them.
