Even though Tobio wanted everyone to stay, it wasn't good to have an intoxicated Futakuchi mixed with people. A huge number of people. He tried to be pushy but polite as possible, trying to wrap up his conversations with others as they bid their final goodbyes. Being able to push out drunk Oikawa and Sugawara with the help of Iwaizumi dragging them out was a huge help. Throwing a party at Futakuchi's apartment to celebrate Futakuchi's birthday.

Well the guests partying didn't really know it was Futakuchi's birthday, they had a last minute invite by Tobio who just wanted people to converse with, it was good for him and the baby growing in him to have at least some social interaction. The only person who knew Tobio was pregnant was Futakuchi, who he shared the news with when he first found out. They tried to make everything work out, but they didn't share the same flame.

Tobio hated the fact that he was taken advantage of by the person he trusted for so long. But all the memories and love they had for each other that long, he couldn't let go. And the child he was carrying, he didn't want a child without a father figure. If Futakuchi was even a fatherly figure at all.

With everyone leaving, he didn't like the decreasing number of people slowly leaving the home. He rubbed his stomach, feeling faint movement. He was happy to carry a bundle of joy but the thought of Futakuchi being the father scared him a bit. Futakuchi was good significant other, sometimes coming home angry and ranting about to in a vulgar way, made Tobio concerned of how he might talk around Kaori. No one knew yet. Even Kuroo.

He planned to break up with Futakuchi. He wasn't mated with him so it was possible he could slip out of his fingers. Although something bad would happen if he were to, he needed to leave this relationship.

The apartment they shared was Futakuchi's apartment, where it had no elevator. Which meant Tobio had to climb up to almost 9 flights of stairs just to get to his apartment whenever he wanted to a quick fuck or someone to get mad at. Tobio tried to reason with the other that he can't keep coming over, explaining that it was bad for the baby but it would all lead up to another useless and unneeded argument.

Tobio spent most of the party talking to Suna or Kenma, being the only tolerable people. They didn't drink nor make much of a ruckus besides Kuroo and Bokuto. Especially those two, who encouraged Futakuchi to drink to celebrate such big numbers. Big mistake. He should've tried to stop him from drinking almost 10 bottles but the smile and raw enjoyment on his face made him feel like it wasn't his place to not. He hasn't seen him smile like that in awhile.

Semi and Daishou were ogling over Konoha's baby nephew, his big blue doe eyes and his happy face he carried with him everywhere. Tobio saw a glimpse of the little one and immediately thought about Kaori, his heat feeling full of the thought of holding Kaori as he talked about his day, the baby having no idea but having someone to listen to your rant was enough. Kuroo pointed out that Tobio looked more less thinner then usual, which, Tobio pretended it as if it were nothing.

Seeing that only Kuroo and Suna were the last ones left in the apartment, he striked up an excuse of why the both of them should leave, Suna actually obeying and leaving, blowing a kiss to Tobio. "See ya later Tobs."

Now it was Kuroo and Tobio with Futakuchi silently sitting on the couch, looking angry but not saying a single thing. Kuroo could drink almost a hundred drinks and still not get drunk. He looked unfazed at all the alcohol he consumed. Kuroo and Futakuchi got along yeah but it was something about him that Kuroo couldn't understand. He didn't like having fun. Whenever they would talk, they would talk about girls and some other inappropriate shit that Kuroo would question Tobio but the other would brush it off.

Kuroo had pulled Tobio aside many times today if Tobio was ok or comfortable with him leaving him with Futakuchi. Tobio stayed oblivious to the situation, reassuring Kuroo multiple times that he was 100% fine. Kuroo was probably a hundred times more stronger then Futakuchi but he didn't want his brother getting hurt. Even with what Kuroo deals with his own stuff, he should keep his business to himself have Tobio deal with his own problems now and then.
