I was standing in the kitchen doing the dishes swaying my hips to whatever was playing through the speakers. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. A smile instantly forming on my face.

"Good morning darling" the voice said wrapping their arms around my waist.

"Good morning Hailee" I smiled looking over my shoulder. Wait Hailee?! Why am I dreaming about Hailee?

"Everything ok my love?" I felt the heat rising on my cheeks. She put her chin on my shoulder.

"Yes everything is fine." I smiled looking at her eyes. I could get lost in her eyes for so long. The light brown pulling me in like an ocean current. Hailee started to lean in and so did I. Her eyes slowly closing the closer she was getting-

BEEP BEEP BEEP

My head shot up. Looking around I sat up on my bed. I sighed. I had to get ready for work.

Walking in the bathroom I turned on the shower. Then suddenly I heard my phone ringing. I ran out of the bathroom and answered it.

"Hello?" I said closing the bathroom door.

"Hi I'm looking to speak to Raven? Raven Jackson?" A female voice said.

"May I ask who's asking?" I sat down on the bed.

"Oh yes sorry! This is Candice. She went on a date with me a few nights ago?" I froze. I definitely didn't want to talk to her anymore.

"I'm sorry you must have the wrong number" I lied trying to get out of this.

"Oh my...I'm sorry" She said. I didn't give her any time to say anything else. I hung up and looked at myself in the mirror. How did she get my number? Out of no where my phone rang again.

"Listen you've got the wrong number" I said ready to hang up.

"Woah. Someone is not happy this morning" I heard a familiar voice. I looked at my phone and saw Hailee's name.

"Oh man I'm sorry" I said with wide eyes.

"Don't worry about it. Is everything ok?" She asked. Her voice was raspy, almost like she just woke up.

"Candice somehow got my number and called me so I had to lie." Hailee didn't say anything. Then suddenly she burst out laughing.

"What is so funny?" I said smirking. Her laugh was music to my ears. God she's perfect.

"I can't believe she's looking for you. She didn't get the hint when you didn't try to contact her again?" Hailee said out of breath.

"She knows I'm a very busy teacher" I said as my smirk was growing.

"Yes so busy you were on FaceTime with me for four hours. Most of it was fully of you staring and blushing" I choked on air.

"Didn't think I noticed hm? You're not very slick hun" Hailee said making me blush.

"I know you don't have time for this right now. I just want to call to say I hope your day goes better. Text me when you get to work so I know you're ok yeah?" I smiled.
