Prepare for this chapter to absolutely suck. End of the year, teachers are pushing a whole shit ton of work out to get done and I'm extremely tired 🥱My apologies. I'm going to work on the much better, juicier chapters when I'm not falling asleep in class 😙 Enjoy my little readers 😻

"It's Friday again. But not a good one. (✋🏻😔)
Hailee...well she got hit by a car, and died. Her funeral is today. Oh how must I go on-"

"Raven, darling. I didn't die. I'm going on a press tour"

"My dear lover will never be seen again. I must go buy all posters that have her on them."

"I'll be back in two weeks."

"OH THE PAIN AND SUFFERING SHE HAS GONE THROUGH AND IS NOW MAKING ME BARE BY LOSING HER"

"Oh my...either you were a theatre kid or you're just crazy" Hailee giggled causing me to look at her squinting. (Kinda like this 😑)

"I am not crazy and I was not a theatre kid either. I'm just so emotional" I sighed dramatically and put the back of my hand on my forehead while gripping my heart with the other.

"You say emotional, I say crazy" Hailee said pulling me to my bed.

"Let's just spend our last moments together, for two weeks, cuddling. How does that sound?" Hailee smiled up at me as she wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me closer to her.

"Yeah, that's sound great," I say as I bend down to kiss her. (😙 mmmwah)

"I'll drive you to the airport. Don't want you to go alone, now do we?" I smiled tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear.

"You don't have to do that darling. I don't mind just getting a cab. These are your only days off. I don't want you to spend them on me" Hailee smiled back.

"Hey. Don't think like that. I'm not wasting my weekend. I love spending time with you. All I'm doing is grading papers anyway. They can wait for Sunday" I cup her face with my two hands.

"Why can't you come with me again?" Hailee asked sadly.

"I have a job to do darling. I can't just leave, I need the money" I smiled gently at her.

"I have money you can take whenever you want," she said taking my hand in hers.

"And I appreciate that you are willing to do that for me but that is your hard-earned money.  I could never do that." I say. I rubbed my thumb over her knuckles. Hailee smiled at me and kissed my head.

"You're sweet hun, really, but I want to help you" I smiled up at her before laying my head on her chest.

"We'll go somewhere together another time darling, your doing it for work and I've still got Jessie to look after," I mumbled tracing shapes on the skin where her shirt had ridden up.

"What if she went to stay with MJ's parents?" Hailee questioned, placing her hand on my back. I sighed keeping my head down.

"Sorry, I should've dropped it. Let's just enjoy each other's presence in silence" Hailee said rubbing her hand up and down.

"No no, it's fine. It wasn't you. Jessie can't stay with MJ's parents because, well...they aren't very good parents. Why do you think she's almost always over here? If not here she's at Anna's" I say, gently taking a deep breath.

"Aren't you supposed to report them?" I chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah. I tried but MJ didn't want that" I paused.
