Chapter Eleven-First Date

It had been 12:30 pm when Hailee closed out Instagram and got off her phone. I had stopped looking at her phone long ago, I was busy looking at her face light up every time she saw a new comment.

Hailee stretched her arms above her head before she turned to look at me.

"Hey there pretty girl," She said causing the heat to rise up in my cheeks. I turned and hid my face in her neck.

"No don't hide that beautiful face of yours from me darling" I was blushing even more. She put her hand on my chin and backed up until she could see my face.

"Let me take you out tonight, it'll be much better than that date you had with Candice," Hailee smirked.

"I don't think anything can beat that night," I said smiling.

"What?" Hailee looked at me confused, her eyes showing a bit of hurt in them.

"That horrible date is the reason I got to have you. So no, nothing will be able to beat that night." I smiled at her and kissed the tip of her nose. Hailee smiled shyly and stood up.

"I'll be back here for you at 6 ok?" She looked at me as she grabbed the few things she brought with her. I nodded and watched as she walked out of my room. I heard the front door close. I looked over at the clock on my nightstand (or side table, depending on how you say it), it read 1:45 pm, I sighed. Just a few more hours, I can wait. Suddenly there was a knock at my door. I looked over and saw Jessie standing in the door way smiling lightly at me. I smiled back at her.

"I just wanted let you know we're back now. I wanted to give you and Hailee some space. She gone for the rest of the day?" Jessie asked gently.

"She's coming back at six to pick me up for a date. Will you be ok here without me?" I asked sitting up.

"Yes Ray, I'll be fine. Is it ok if MJ stays over for the night? Her parents are fine with it"Jessie smiled while shifting her weight to her other foot.

"Yeah of course. Just don't ruin my furniture yeah?" I smirked at her.

"Oh god Raven shut up. Go get ready before I send you out like this" She walked away chuckling. I rolled my eyes and started getting ready.

Time skip (y'all know what to do when your getting ready)

I was sitting in the living room waiting for Hailee to come when MJ walked down the stairs. I smiled at her, to which she returned.

"Excited for the date Ms.Jackson?" She asked smirking at me.

"MJ please, call me Raven when you around here" I said to her.

"That's going to be difficult you know, after calling you Ms.Jackson for the last 8 months" She chuckled. As I was about to speak Jessie yelled out from the top of the stairs.

"MJ! What's taking so long. I want my cuddles again" she said with a whiney voice. I chuckled while shaking my head.

"Well, I've got to go now Ms.Jack- Raven. Tell me about the date, yeah?" She smirked and made her way back upstairs. Just as I was going back to sit on the couch there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see Hailee dressed in a gorgeous red dress. ( the one she wore at the mtv vmas such a gorg dress 😻)

"Wow Hailee you look stunning" I said taking her whole body in. (No idea how to word this 😜)

"Look at you darling. You look incredible" Hailee said smiling at me. (Picture what you want for the fit 🫶🏻)

"You know you didn't have to knock right? You could've just walked in" I said pulling her in gently buy her arm.

"Well that wouldn't be the right way to start of this day now would it?" She shot back resting her back against the door. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
