"Did you hear?"Lane asked Angel asked after she answered the phone. "Lane it's 6am i don't know jack."

"Rory and Dean broke up."Lane said and Angels eyes widened. "no way."She said and lane stayed silent.

"i gotta go."She said and hung up the phone and slipped on her converse not caring she still had her sweats and hoodie on.

"Hi...Rory."She said out of breath almost running into the table stumbling over her feet.

"you know."Rory said and Angel sighed. "yeah i might."She said and Rory sighed. "well i'm fine so don't ask."

"Alright."She said and turned around on her heels running upstairs to change seeing as she was still wearing sweats.

Angel and Rory were now getting ready because Rory decided she wanted to go to Madeline's birthday party.

Originally Angel wasn't going to go but since Rory asked her she decided to.

"Tristan going?"Rory asked Angel who shrugged. "Rory how are you really?"She asked her and Rory shook her head.

"I'm...Fine."Rory said and Angel gave her a 'really' Look. "really because it seemed like you hesitated there."Angel remarked and Rory rolled her eyes.

"Life goes on,Right?"Rory said and Angel sighed. "are you sure you wanna go out tonight?"

"why does everyone keep asking me that?"Rory asked and Angel gave her a look.

"Come on Rory everyone knows after a breakup you're supposed to be sad and shit."Angel said waving her hands frantically.

"Angel sure i miss dean he was my first boyfriend but i'm not sad i want to go out."Rory said and Angel sighed.

"Okay but if you ever want to just leave and talk or not talk and just listen to music or watch a movie tell me."Angel said and Rory nodded and they both stood walking out the room.

"Here's is the phone and some mad money if you think you won't be home before 12:00 call me."Lorelai said and Rory nodded taking both items.

"This looks a little...much."She said looking at the house the part was in.

"i don't know why i expected something smaller."Rory said tilting her head to see the house size.

"yeah but anyway didn't drive to Hartford for nothing."Angel said and unlocked the car. "you drove for me."Rory said with a smile.

"oh my god there's a pool table."Angel said and Rory looked. "and a dj."Rory said.

"this is like a teenage sodom and Gomorrah."Angel said and Rory  stifled a laugh.

"you came!"Madeline shouted the hugging the two girls who smiled.
"yeah sorry we didn't bring you anything this was kinda a late decision."Angel said and Madeline shrugged.

"oh that's fine!"She said and smiled at the girls. "your house is nice."Rory complimented. "thanks it's my stepfathers."

"so where is he?"Louise asked and Angel looked at Rory who had a blank look on her face.
