"But what i said was "what,Janie?"" Lane said quoting herself. "And then she goes, "you're cheerleader material." Cheerleader just like that!i couldn't believe it!"Lane exclaimed and Angel watched as Rory looked through the window of the grocery marking.

"Have you heard a word i said?"Lane asked Rory who still looked into the market.

"Nope."She answered truthfully. "i resent that im a witty conversationalist."Lane said and Angel followed Rory's eyes that landed on dean.

"What?"Lane asked looked between both girls. "im going in"Rory said."you cant."Lane said.

"im going in."Rory repeated. "iys Thursday afternoon he works thursday afternoons."Lane reasoned.

"i think that's the point of her going in."Angel said and Lane rolled her eyes at Angels sarcasm that was laced in her voice.

"Anyway were talking about you-know-who right?"Lane asked and Rory nodded her head.

"i know."Rory said and Lane finally processed. "oh my god."Lane said. "calm down."Rory said smiling.

"Oh god!"Lane said jumping. "you're making a spectacle."Rory said. "you're getting back together with Dean!"Lane said and Rory's mouth dropped.

"If you keep jumping im gonna videotape it and send it to janie fertman as your cheerleading audition."Rory threatened and Lane stopped jumping.

"When did this happen?"Lane asked and Rory sighed. "nothings happened. i don't even know what im doing,exactly,or what he's thinking or whether he's burned all my letters and pictures or hates me or what.but im going in."Rory rambled and Lane nodded moving next to Angel.

"i so encourage this. we love you but you've been mopey topey,dopey and about 12 other melancholy dwarves for the past weeks and i miss the old Rory."Angel said and Lane nodded her head as Rory took a deep breath.

"i miss the old me too."Rory said. "ive been feeling bad for new Rory."Lane said

"She's staging a comeback."Rory said and both girls smiled at her. "May iy ne more successful that peter framptons."Angel said and Lane laughed.

"wish me luck."Rory said walking towards the store. "Luck."Lane and Angel told her before Rory walked in and they both watched through the window.

soon Rory stormed out and both girls scrambled to follow her. "well?"

"He's not there."Rory said looking upset. "but he always works Thursdays."Lane said and Rory sighed.

"i guess he's taking Thursday afternoons off now.Thats not good."Rory said and the two girls finally caught up to her.

"Hows that not good?"Angel asked confused. "Because that means he's moved on."

"What are you taking about?"Lane asked just as confused as Angel. "He's met one of those Thursday afternoon girls."Rory explained.

"You're nuts."Angel muttered almost giving up on waking with Rory because of how fast she was walking.

"Whats a thursday afternoon girl?"Lane asked . "theyre those slutty girls that get guys to switch their Thursday afternoons with another checkout guys so they can go do slutty thursday afternoon things."Rory explained now finally slowing down.

"Okay you're reading to much into this."Lane said and Rory shook her head.

"i should have gone in."Rory said but Angel and Lane disagreed. "it was good to go in."

"Tylor thinks im casing the place like i would ever shoplift."Rory said. "well-"

"Angel zip it."Lane said pointing to her.

"At school have you ever seen him with another girl?"

"Lane ."Rory said sternly.

"on that episode on 'best friends forever' what are we doing today?"Angel asked and the two girls rolled their eyes and laughed at the girls sarcasm
