(Emily's POV): "Come on! You need to get out of the dorm! Meet some hot guys!". I groaned, Olivia had been nagging me for the longest of times to start dating someone. "I told you! I don't want to date anyone." I looked at the ground. "Why? You've always said that but never the reason. Why don't you want to date someone?" I tried my best to avoid eye contact,"It's not important... why don't we go to the club then?" Olivia squealed. I fingered through all of my dresses. I stopped at a specific one. It was tight pink dress that fanned out below the black sash on the waist. Olivia's arm reached out from behind me,"this one is perfect." She grabbed it and spread it out on my bed. My back remained facing the closet. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Olivia stopped talking and turned around. "You wore this with him right?" I managed a weak smile,"yah we actually danced together when I was wearing it." I turned around and picked it up. "Doesn't mean I can't wear it again." Olivia smiled,"now that's what I'm talking about." I put it on and looked in the mirror. Olivia put her hand over her mouth,"there's gonna be a line to dance with you girl!" I laughed,"not likely." She raised her eyebrows,"yah cause every time we go out, there's not at least three boys begging to take you home." I chuckled. She was right. Every time we went out I said 'no' to boys wanting to take me home or on a date. After are hair and make up was done we drove to the club. As soon as I stepped through the doors alcohol and perfume filled my nose. The music was thumping in my ears and made my body shake. Olivia strutted over to the bar and ordered a drink. She walked back over to me,"lets go and dance together!" She yelled over the music. I hesitated. She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the sea of people. We jumped around and danced in circles. Suddenly I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and someone grinding on my butt. Olivia winked at me. I turned around to a complete stranger. "Come on the night is young. Dance with me and then maybe we can hit the couches." he whispered in my ear. I pushed him away and shook my head. I grabbed Olivia and brought her over to another section of the dance floor. She nudged me and leaned over to my ear,"come on he was hot!" I gave her a look and kept on dancing. Soon enough we had tired ourselves out and wandered towards the bar. She ordered another drink. I raised my eyebrows,"I'm not carrying you home like last time." She waved this notion off. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to another stranger. He sat down next to me. "What's a pretty lady like you sitting all alone for?" "Well actually I have a friend with me." I nodded in the direction of Olivia. He shook his head,"no I mean without a guy?" I shrugged pretending to not know why. "How 'bout I get you a drink and then we can get to know each other at my place?" I shook my head once again,"no I don't drink and I definitely don't want to go home with you." He walked away with a scowl on his face. I turned around to Olivia, but she wasn't there. I got up out of my seat and went to go and find her. I looked around the bar. No luck. I looked in the dance floor. No luck. I looked in the bathroom. No luck. I went over to couches. She was pressed up against the wall making out with the guy who had talked to me when we were dancing. I walked over and peeled him off of her. She groaned. I took her hand,"come on let's go. It's getting kind of late." We made our way out of the club and to my car. She pouted,"your no fun." I chuckled and drove us back to our dorm.
