(Emily's POV): we stepped out of the terminal, cameras flashing everywhere and questions being screamed at us. Harry gripped my hand a little harder and helped navigate me to a luggage cart. He sat me on top of the cart and pushed me through the airport. I laughed at how silly this was and placed my hands on Harry's. We had come out about our relationship a couple of weeks ago, deciding to just tell the world instead of hiding. Harry was apprehensive at first, worrying about the hate and gossip I would receive. I had literally begged on my hands and knees. He agreed knowing that we would have to come out sooner or later because of our trip to NY. I had packed only one suitcase to my surprise since we would be here for only a week. The suitcase though was huge, Harry had to sit on it to close it. I chuckled to myself remembering how anxious I was. It clearly showed on the plane. I couldn't sit still, the plane ride taking much longer than the tiny hour long flights I had previously taken. I had tried to busy myself with reading magazines, listening to music, watching the movies they played for us, but it wasn't enough. I am grateful for Harry, who put up with me and talked to me to calm me down when I was most fidgety. He carried a cool and collected image, having ridden a plane like this more times than he could count. He sang me to sleep and helped press a damp cloth to my forehead as we descended, the vomit in my stomach threatening to come up. We were quickly ushered out of the plane, rumors that Harry was on the plane circulating among the 2nd class. Now here we were, running through an airport on a cart. The artificial breeze created felt cold and inviting on my clammy skin. My head tilted back to Harry who was watching me and smiling. He leaned down and kissed me. We approached customs and he groaned,"I hate this." I scanned the long line of people after people waiting to get past a line of booths and continue on their journey or return home. I questioningly turned back to him,"You get to skip it don't you?" He nodded. I shook my head and laughed,"what's so bad about that?" He half smiled,"I feel like I'm cheating. All those people have been waiting and now I'm just cutting in front of them. It makes me feel like a little prick." I pushed his hair back,"your not trust me. If you really feel bad then I'm sure you can make a girls day by talking to her." Harry chuckled and kissed  my cheek. He pushed me passed the exhausted people and I started to understand what he meant. He did sign some things and acquired a small group of followers who disappointedly left after the officers told them to. We left after picking up the luggages, a taxi waiting for us outside. My eyes started to droop on the ride to our hotel, the jetlag slowly taking over me. Harry noticed and smiled, letting me rest my head on his shoulder. It was only eight o'clock in the morning in America but in England it was around two in the morning. After what seemed like five minutes the car stopped. I didn't realize this until Harry gently peeled my head away from his shoulder. He closed the door, it making only the smaller of sounds, and walked over to my side. His strong arms lifted me out of the cab. I protested mumbling that I could walk on my own and trying to fight against his steady grip. He chuckled and shook his before placing a kiss on my forehead. He carried me bridal style into the lobby, a kind usher had helped with the luggage and carried it in for us. My head rolled back onto Harry's shoulder and my arms wrapped around his neck. The man at the front desk nodded in my direction,"long flight I take it?" Harry smiled at me and nodded. He received the room key after giving his name and information. We caught an elevator and made our way to the room. Harry slid the card in and a beep sounded. He gently pushed the door open and brought me in. I was too tired and sleepy to notice where we were. He expertly brought me to my bed and laid me down. I made an effort to get up,"It's only eight I can make us a cup of coffee or something." I mumbled trying to push my way past Harry's arms. He chuckled and pushed me back down,"your not going anywhere for the next few hours." I surrendered and let my body fall back onto the duvet. Hands pried my shoes off and placed me under the covers. He began to leave but I called him back,"Harry?" "Mmmhmmm" "Could you sing to me?" I felt a body weighing down the bed and some springs groaned. Harry sat on the edge and played with my hair, wiping it out of my face. A sweet tune of what sounded like John Mayor drifted through the room. It didn't take much to fall asleep, the final touch being a kiss on the nose from Harry.

Harry turned around, he had just been texting on his phone. He locked and set it down on the coffee table. His legs carried him over to me but his voice reached my ears first,"you feeling better?" I managed a small smile that was interrupted by a yawn. "I don't know how you do it." I marveled. He chuckled and kissed my nose, leaving a small wet mark that I didn't  bother to wipe away. "You go sit down and I will make us a pot of tea." I nodded, the comfort of the soft cushions beckoning me to sit on them. It seemed as if I had only just closed my eyes until I heard the loud heavy footsteps of Harry. My eyes fluttered opened and I grasped the cup that was handed to me. Harry sat down next to me, leaning his head on my shoulder. "What time is it?" I asked. The hot steam emitting out of my cup was blowing up into my face. Harry stretched out his arm, trying to reach his phone without having to get up. I looked over his shoulder at the time. "Around two." He said as he leaned back against me. I breathed in surprised,"so I slept around six hours?" Harry nodded, burying his head into my shoulder. His hand drifted down to my thigh and he rubbed small circles with his thumb. "You're cute when you sleep you know." My eyebrows arched in question,"what's that supposed to mean?" Harry chuckled, the vibration from his chest tickling my side,"it means I took a picture and posted it on twitter because everyone was asking how we liked New York. I said that you were down for the count thanks to jet lag." My body didn't have enough energy to get up and make a commotion. "Damn you Harry. What did the caption really say?" Harry recited,"sleeping beauty's first trip out of the country. Jet lag was not nice to her." I groaned,"you're mean." Harry removed his hand from my thigh and moved it up to my face, pushing back a strand of hair. "If I'm mean then why are you sitting here with me?" "Because I've been kidnapped and drugged and my memory is finally coming back." "You wish babe, admit it, your glad your here with me." I pursed my lips playing my role,"Well you see, you are starting to grow on me, but then again I absolutely detest kidnappers." Harry winked,"I would be a good kidnapper wouldn't I?" I laughed,"No, you would be the worst the world has ever seen." We sat there for a minute, listening to the others breath and trying to match it. "What do you want to do?" I shrugged not really knowing. "Maybe the Empire State Building, Central Park, and shopping. We can figure some other things as we go." Harry's throat let out a sound of agreement,"not all today I hope?" I looked directly at him,"of course not! Sleeping beauty is still a bit sleepy you know. Nothing crazy today don't worry."
