(Emily's POV): I glanced at my phone for the umpteenth time today. - from Harry: I'll pick you up on Saturday at 10 and we can grab lunch and head over to the park I've noticed exists. Xx - I laughed at myself. The park that he had noticed was nicknamed the kid sex park. The reason being one side was for kids and the other side was a romantic kissing scene thanks to college kids. Many people steered clear from there afraid of what they might see. A grunt escaped my lips as I rolled out of bed. Mornings are not my thing. My feet dragged over to my closet to pick out an outfit. I settled on a knit sweater and ripped skinny jeans. Olivia was half asleep eyeing what I was doing. I threw her a quick smirk and she instantly knew what I meant. She threw herself out of bed and sprinted to the door. But I was faster and reached the bathroom first. Olivia kicked the door,"Damn it! You made me get up for nothing!" She slinked off to bed. My clothes formed a heap on the floor as I walked into the shower. The hot water rolled down my body and formed vapor on the mirror. After about fifteen minutes I was out with a towel wrapped around my naked body. Puddles of now cold water were left as a path by feet. I blow dried my hair and combed through it. The brush retaliated at the ends that contained the smallest amount of water. I moved onto my face. A simple coat of mascara was all I needed. I slipped on my clothes and examined myself in the mirror. My vision was blurry and I cursed. I rummaged through the drawers in a desperate attempt to find what I was looking for. My hands remained empty handed of contacts. I groaned as I realized I had forgotten to pick up my contacts. The glasses at the corner of the counter seemed to laugh at me. I snatched them and stuck them to my face. Some people liked to call then hipster glasses but I refused to believe they were. I unlocked the door and walked back to the room. Olivia sat on her bed with my phone in her hands taking selfies. I snatched it away from her,"how many have you taken?" she shrugged and headed for the bathroom. I glanced at the clock. Fifteen minutes till show time. I grabbed my pair of Oxfords and sat at the kitchen counter waiting for Harry. Sure enough he came with five minutes to spare. "You ready?" I nodded and stepped outside. I closed the door behind me and followed Harry to his car. He opened the passenger door and closed it behind me. "Where to?"  I curiously looked over to him. He kept his eyes on the road,"I was thinking maybe we could go eat a brunch at this place called Brunner?" I smiled,"sounds good to me."He casually looked at my face,"you know this place?," I laughed,"do I know it? I practically spend every sunday morning there. How did you find it?" His arms flexed as he took a sharp turn into a busy road,"I just looked up the best places to eat breakfast here and it came up with this."I chuckled,"Google is always right." His eyebrows furrowed as he looked for a spot. The green eyes opened up wide as he finally spotted one. He parked and jogged over to my side of the car before I could even get the chance to unbuckle. We walked along the side walk to the quaint cafe. The smell of coffee and the sound of many loud voices fighting to be heard greeted me at the door. We ordered our food and Harry generously paid. He bent down to my level and whispered to me,"how 'bout we ditch this place and ask for to go?" My eyes narrowed skeptically,"I'm not sure they do that."He smirked as if he had just accepted a challenge. He called over to the waitress,"Ma'am? Can we get to go." She opened her mouth to deny but upon seeing the cash laid out before her on the table she nodded. Harry turned back to me with a smirk plastered across his face,"thats the way you do it." I playfully kicked him under the table,"not many university kids have that kind of money ya know." he shrugged and pursed his lips in an attempt to look superior. Our food came moments later in a big bag. Harry took it and thanked the waitress. He winked at her making her blush and scamper away. Jealousy hit me. I frowned at myself. Why would I be jealous? Harry and I were merely friends, nothing else. He escorted me out the door. It was a windy fall day, one of the first we had this year. Being towards the south of the UK had its advantages. "Want to go to that park I was talking about?" Harry asked. I made an inhumanely sound. One that was compromised of a laugh and an effort to hide it. "You mean the kid sex park?" startled he stopped walking and looked straight at me. I explained it to him and soon enough he was laughing with me. We entered the kid section and picked out a nice little spot in the sun. Thankfully the food was still warm and we ate it with great pleasure. We talked about the year and what we had done. "You really tuned me out didn't you?" Guilt was shown on my face,"well its not as if you knew what I was doing either." he chuckled,"That different. It was as if you had disappeared off of the face of the Earth. And trust me, if I could have known where you were along time ago you would be in my arms at this time." He cheekily smiled and then frowned and looked away. I blushed and responded teasingly,"Im not sure your charm would have worked on me Styles." He flashed me another smile,"Is that a challenge?" I pretended to mull this over in my mind. "Sure. If you have me in your arms in a year you can..." he finished the sentence for me,"give you a love bite to show everyone your mine." I cringed at the thought but confidence can drive you to do things you wouldnt normally do, in this case it encouraged me to accept,"if you want, but if I'm not in your arms I get to take you to a club and find some guy to whom will be the lucky receiver of one make out session with Emily Thomas in front of the very unlucky Harry Styles." A confident smirk spread across his face,"make that deadline four months." I smiled almost positive I was going to win,"cocky much?" he playfully shrugged. "I accept" he stuck out his hand,"shake on it?"I stuck my opposite hand out to meet his. We shook without breaking eye contact. "Its a deal then?" "Its a deal."
