FORGIVENESS

🌺FIVE MONTHS LATER:
JUNE 1995

THIRD PERSON
Students at Hogwarts begin wrapping up their final exams as summer break approaches.

Everyone is already discussing their plans, such as where they will be traveling to, what kind of activities they have in mind, etc.

Sitting in her history of magic class, Anya grew excited because she and the girls planned a trip to Bora Bora. At the same time, she has grown concerned for Draco since he began to avoid her after Tiffany's party.

Whenever Anya tried to spark a conversation with him, he ignored her, or if he were to catch Anya looking at him in the Great Hall, he'd roll his eyes and look away.

Anya thought that was strange since the last time she checked...

She hadn't done anything wrong to him.

When the bell rings, Professor Binns dismisses everyone, and they all exit the classroom.

Anya, who was on her way to the Great Hall, gets stopped by Pansy.

"Perez! Hey, do you have a moment?"

Anya eyed her weirdly as she never anticipated her bully would approach her like this. But she decided to hear her out.

"What's up?"

"I just wanted to... apologize for how I treated you back then. I was rude and selfish, and you did not deserve the bullshit I gave you."

Anya was taken aback by surprise when she noticed Pansy being genuine and kind when, in her first year and present, all she did was hate people and make their lives hell.

She tilted her head down and placed her hands inside her pockets as she continued.

"I will admit to you that I despised you all these years because I was envious and had nothing better to do than to bully you for no reason. Also, about Draco, he and I never dated, we were kind of fuck, and I was possessive when it came to him, though he didn't reciprocate the same feelings I had for him. So, that caused me to hate you even more because I was jealous when I noticed him staring or smiling at you. Then, when Tiffany came into the picture, I was glad I found someone who felt the same way about hating you. But as soon as she told me all the awful stuff she'd done to you, I started to feel bad, even though I did laugh and crack mean jokes about you to her. But after a couple of days of thinking about it, I realized this girl was crazy! I couldn't let her expose you like that and ruin your life, so I ripped apart those copied photos of you and assisted you in letting everyone see who Tiffany was because you don't deserve that to happen to you."
