🌺THE SAME DAY: EVENING
NICK KELTON Once I managed to sneak out of the dorms, I started heading to the astronomy tower since someone had sent me a note earlier in class, requesting that I meet with them without signing their name.
I hope it's not Anya because I do not have the time or the energy to start a fight. She got me fucked up the other day, yet I miss her, and I need her so badly.
Even though I was angry at Anya, she had been on my mind nonstop, and I still cared and worried about her.
The urge of me wanting to rip her away from Malfoy was high, but I wouldn't do that since Anya is my best friend.
I guess I'm too late...
I'm gonna have to deal with the fact that she's with Malfoy now and is happy, though I could make her happier the most.
Once, I headed upstairs and saw a blonde-haired girl leaning against the railing with her hands gripping the post, viewing the dark blue sky, I recognized it was Scarlett and that she had sent me the note.
I was shocked yet relieved it wasn't Anya.
Why does Scarlett want to meet me?
"Ahem."
I cleared my throat, and she turned around with a smile forming on her face.
"Nick! Hi!"
"Hey."
She walked toward me, "I'm so glad you could make it!"
"What did you want to talk to me about?"
"I don't want to talk to you about anything. I just wanted to check in and see how you were doing."
Scarlett stroked my face and continued smiling at me until I thought of something I wanted to get answers to.
"Was that really necessary for what you did to Anya?" I asked, and her smile instantly faded
