The warm morning sun rays shine on Rosario's face as she rides in the back of a white cab. It's been an hour drive from the Baja California airport into the city of Tijuana. If it would've been up to her she would've taken a one-way flight to New York but she won't leave the ashes of her last loved one in a city of violence.

The one question I'm asking myself isn't what did I do wrong but why would he do this to me if he knows I would never do anything like that to him. Why would he push me away if he knows I'm willing to do anything and everything to be by his side. Why was I wrong about him ... why couldn't I see I was wrong about him before he showed me he was. I hate you. I hate you and I hope you never find happiness or peace. I hope you regret doing what you did to me and I hope you come running to look for me only to find yourself alone because I will no longer be here. I left everything for you and now I'm alone, maybe this is what I get ... now I'll have to carry my own cross.

The cab finally arrived at the front of what appeared to now be an abandoned mansion, a place that's no longer taken care of properly but surprisingly not yet sold, the Paez home.

Rosario visually scanned the front of the home before stepping into it, the inside was well preserved as well as the porcelain floors and the high ceilings, someone must've been taking care of it in their absence.

The sound of footsteps coming from the kitchen brought a surprised expression to the girls face, it was Teresa, her nana. A welcoming smile formed on her lips at the sight of Rosario ... "Mi niña!"

Rosario immediately smiled back feeling her lips form into a small pout, a knot tied at her throat and her eyes became watery the moment she landed into the woman's arms "Teresa ..." her tone was gentle, very much vulnerable

"Mi corazón! Creí que no te volvería a ver ... como estas? Pero mira que guapa te haz puesto!" Teresa could not contain her excitement

Rosario remained wrapped around the woman who to her was like a second mother, or maybe more like her one and only ... "hay mucho por contarte, nana ... donde están ..." she couldn't even finish her sentence as the dejection was taking over but she didn't need to because Teresa's face began to match hers as she turned to her left
