Arturo glanced through the rearview mirror at the girl in the backseat — she appeared thoughtful, something rare on her. He focused his eyes back on the road and let out a sigh before reaching for a folded newspaper between his seat and his door only to toss it behind him.
The folded piece of paper landed at Rosario's feet, she glanced up at her brother then switched her stare to the sleeping girl in the passengers seat.
"Que?" (What?) She asked carelessly
"Que?" (What?) Arturo mocked her "Lee lo que dice el periódico" (Read the article)
Rosario uncrossed her arms and bent over reaching for the newspaper, she slowly unfolded it and scanned through the page almost immediately noticing the front page news ...
