-A little backstory-

Vance had a little crush on Finney and they way he would show it is by annoying and tease him, he would also protect him but only when didn't know about it

Finney had a huge crush on Vance but never admitted it because he would usually be scared of him, he would never want to admit he would only watch from a far.

Finney's P.O.V

I was in my room putting on my custom,
It was a basic vampire custon which looked okay on me

I walked out my room and headed to living room where my sister was, I took a candy bucket and she stood up holding hers "Finney is it okay if I go with my friends this night?" "Yeah of course it's okay" I said and she quickly thanked me before waking out, I stood there for a min collecting myself then walking out

I was walking through the neighborhood going door to door asking for candy, while I was looking through my bag I heared laughing coming from behind it wasn't close but it wasn't far I snapped around the laughter sounded like... My bullies Mark, Kai and William.
"Shit..." I looked around started to panic, I turned back to run but it was to late

I felt someone grab me from behind and pull down to floor, I dropped my bucket and looked up at my bullies who were laughing and mocking me for a while before I stood up and run fast, they chased me for a while before I run into a forest crying

I tripped over something and fell over onto the dirty gro)und sobbing my eyes out, I slowly stood up looking at myself all dirty my knees had got scratchs that were still bleeding out and my hand were also slightly covered with dried blood and dirt I tried to clean it up but it didn't work much

I started to walk home avoiding every street that I think my bullies will be on, once I was alone and walking home then I started to calm down a little but not for a while because I saw people ahead of, I quickly crossed the street trying to avoid them

Vance's P.O.V

I was standing next to some kids who trading candy, I was leaning on a mailbox and looking around at the dark street were the light was coming from the street lights, some were broken and flicking off and on which annoyed me but I dealt with it, my eyes wondered around as I got more bored waiting I spotted a kid that looked familiar to me he noticed me and quickly walked across the street from me, he continued walking trying to not look back I told the kid that I was going to trade with that I'm leaving

After a whlie I had caught up with the kid I saw before "Hey kid wait!" He stopped walking and turned around to face me "Finney..?" I looked at him up and down, he was covered in dirt and dried up blood "yes Vance?" He said which snapped me out of my thoughts "what happened to you?' I said annoyed stepping closer to him looking down at him, he looked up at me with a worried expression "Nothing- I'm fine" he said looking away trying to avoid eye contact, I grabbed his face making him look at him "I asked what happened. " he looked at me nervously "I tripped on a rock and got hurt..."" Sure you did, why were you running?" He didn't say anything
