“And he has got the ball! But wait, another player is right behind him! And he has snatched it! He is moving towards- Oh my God! - IT'S A GOAL!” - the commentator shouted in ecstasy as another goal got scored by their finest player.
A football match was taking place between Delhi University and JNU Delhi at the ground of DU, which was jammed pack with students of both the universities, chanting in support. While the professors from both sides tried to remain cordially neutral, in which they were failing badly.
“DU is just one goal away from keeping it's record of the wins and if they win this match then it'll be 4 YEARS IN A ROW!” - the commentator explained, his enthusiasm was telling, he was team DU.
“And, here he comes again! He's chasing the ba- Oh he has got it! He's moving towards the goal post! But it won't be easy! 3 players are behind him and they have stopped his way! No, it's not- OH! He has passed the ball to Neil Khanna! And now Neil is moving towards the goal post and his way is blocked and WHAT IS THIS ?! Neil has passed the ball again! My Goodness! THIS MATCH WILL MAKE ME LOSE ALL OF MY NAILS AT ONCE!” - the commentator took a breath and continued after taking a sip of water.
“And he's moving towards the - NO WAY! His way is blocked again! But wait a sec! He has taken a chance and has kicked the ball through the gap! AND IT'S A GOAL!!!!” - the commentator shouted at the top of his lungs and the crowd of DU supporters went wild.
The players of Team DU ran towards their finest player who, as always, had made them win, and launched themselves at him, creating a group hug.
“Ladies and Gentlemen! University Of Delhi has won the Annual Football Cup for the 4th year in a row, all because of, none other than, ABHIMANYU BIRLA!”
The players broke the hug and carried their captain over their shoulders, as the ground rang with the chants of “Abhimanyu!”
Running a hand through his soaked with sweat hair, feeling adrenaline rushed due to running and then winning, having a proud smile on his face, was Abhimanyu Birla. Sitting on his teammates' shoulders, as everybody hailed him, he was looking no less than a king on his throne.
“I would like to call DU Team and Coach, to receive the trophy.”
The players put Abhimanyu down as they made their way to get their well deserved cup.
The coach motioned Abhimanyu to receive it and Abhimanyu held it high above his head, causing the crowd to go wild once again.

“You were brilliant Abhimanyu.”
Abhimanyu and Neil were walking towards boys hostel to get showered when a voice from behind adressed him.
He turned around to see the same girl who was after him since God knows when.
“I am brilliant. What's new in that ?” - he replied, his tone bored and saw her expressions dimming.
Without waiting for a response, he turned around and made his way towards his room, Neil in his wake.
“Laila is the prettiest girl in the uni currently and she clearly likes you. Why do you ignore her ?” - Neil asked him.
“She is not good enough to have me. I mean look at her, a pretty face, average intelligence, with zero self respect. And look at ME. The most handsome guy in the Uni, best academic record and the hardest to get. There's no match Neil.” - he told his best friend, his tone was such, as if, stating a universal fact.
Which, infact, he was.
Abhimanyu Birla was actually, the most handsome guy in the whole uni with academic record so high that had broken the record of the students of last 40 years. His finesse at playing football, just boosted his popularity throughout the institute. And as crazy as it sounded, his ‘Bad Boy’ persona, getting into fights every other day due to his short temper, and not giving a damn about anyone, just made the girls crazy for him. Some were scared to ask him out due to his anger, some beat around the bush like Laila, giving him hints and few were bold enough to ask him directly and get insulted.
