Chapter 24

Tasia run to follow Carlos. "Attorney!" She calls him, Carlos turned his back and saw the spitting image of Leni in front of him.

"Miss COO" he said smiling. Tasia bite her lips thinking what she should say, "or should I say, Ms. Anastasia Gerona Marcos?"

Tasia look around to see if someone heard him, "you are spitting image of your mother Anastasia. I cannot understand why people cannot see that" he uttered.

"Can we talk privately Attorney?" She asked.

"Sure, I have a favorite coffee shop around here. Dun kami nag uusap ni Madame Leni kapag madami kaming problema" he said.

Then they both went to the coffee shop near the company. After they ordered, Carlos observes Tasia and chuckles as he saw how she drinks her coffee.

"You looked exactly like her." He said then Tasia wipe her mouth, "paano nyo po nalaman?"

"It's not hard to figure it out. After many years, she appointed as the COO. Kamukhang kamukha ka at ikaw lang ang hindi masaya sa nangyari sakanya." He said.

Tasia scratched her head, "I'm just curious kung bakit ganun ka kaloyal sakanya? Lahat ng tao galit sakanya dahil sa sama ng ugali nya."

"Really? Paano yung mga tinanggalan niya ng trabaho? Yung mga company na pinabagsak niya? Yung mga inagawan nya ng business deals? Yung mga nasira ang buhay dahil sakanya?" She asked.

Tasia walk slowly going inside her mom's bedroom, then she saw her dad holding hands with her.

"Pa..." Bongbong glance at her, "oh anak san ka galing?" He saw the exhaustion in Tasia's expression.

"Nakausap ko yung dating personal lawyer ni madame, may iniwan pala siyang last will."

Bongbong smiled, "isn't that nice anak? Hindi ba tamang sayo mapunta ang kompanya?"

Then Tasia started to cry, "hindi naman yun ang gusto ko papa eh." Bongbong approach her and wrap his arms around her.

"Ang unfair lang na ngayon niya palang inaayos yung pag kakamali niya saakin pero ito, ito naman nangyayari ngayon. Alam mo pa, hindi naman ako bato eh. Nararamdaman ko yung pag mamahal niya sakin. Kaya napatawad ko naman na siya eh" she said still crying then she breath heavily and wipe her tears.

"Pero mag sisinungaling ako kung sasabihin kong wala na yung sakit, wala na yung tampo. Siguro kailangan nalang natin hintayin na ma wala lahat ng sakit." She said.

They were both silent when the monitor suddenly flat lined.

"Madame!" Tasia said.

"Leni!" Bongbong screamed. "DOC! TULONG! TULONG!" He screamed as they listen to the sound of the monitor indicating that she has no heartbeat.

"Madame!" Tasia screamed.

Then a bunch of doctors and nurses came inside. They were asked to stand aside so they could check on her.

"We have code blue"

"Her blood pressure is continuously dropping"

"I cannot find pulse"

"Continue to CPR"

"Charge 120"

"Still nothing doc"

"Charge to 140"

"Leni!"

"stay with us ma'am"

"Still no pulse doc"

"Charge to 160"

"Clear"

"I'm sorry..."

"We did everything we could, time of death, 19:24"

"No! No!" Tasia screamed as she run to her.

Bongbong fell on the floor.

"Hindi! Hindi! Ituloy niyo! Huwag kayong titigil!" Tasia hysterically said.

"I'm sorry ma'am"

"Huwag mo kong iwan. Hindi!

MAMA!!!!"

She cries hysterically and bow her head.

Then they heard a beating sound.

They all looked at the monitor as they saw the straight line changing into curves.

"Stay aside ma'am! Charge 200!" The doctor screamed.

"I found pulse"
