Chapter 19

Leni slowly turned her whole body to face Bongbong. "Anak ba natin si Tasia?" He asked more calmly. Her tears started to fall down her eyes then she sighed heavily, "oo" she simply said.

"Ba- bakit hindi mo sinasabi sakin Leni? Ako yung tatay diba? Karapatan ko yun eh, bakit hanggang dulo itinatago mo sakin ang totoo?" Bongbong cries.

Leni shook her head, as she tries to speak again, "hindi mo pa rin ba ko napapatawad ha Leni?" He asked, surrendering to what she will say.

Leni quickly glare at him, "Of course not love, napatawad na kita." She walk closer to him and cupped his face but Bongbong walk backwards to avoid her touch.

"Ang totoong nag patawad, nag titiwala, naniniwala" he said, "I trust you—"

"You don't Leni, you are not capable to trust anyone. I don't even know if you are still capable to love anyone more than yourself" then Leni slap him.

They both startled to what happened, Leni put her hands on her mouth to stop herself from screaming,

"wala kang karapatan na husgahan ako. Hindi mo alam kung anong pinag daanan ko dahil sa letseng pustahan niyo. Naipaliwanag mo man sakin ang katotohanan pero ilang taon kong dala sa puso ko yung galit ko sayo pero alam mo mas nanaig yung pag mamahal ko eh kaya kahit nasasaktan pa ko pinatawad kita. Mas pinili kong mahalin ka ulit tapos ngayon huhusgahan mo ko na hindi ko kayang mag mahal ng iba tao? Para mo kong pinatay ulit Bong!"

Bongbong tried to console her but Leni repelled him. "Wala kang sasabihin kahit ano kay Tasia—"

"Leni!" Bongbong interrupted him but Leni did not back down, "subukan mong sabihin sakanya ang totoo, hinding hindi kita mapapatawad" she said then run upstairs.

"Leni!" Bongbong calls her but he knew there's no point in convincing her to tell Tasia the truth.

Everyone looks at the wall clock, they are all waiting for Leni to come to the office. "Hoy anong oras na wala pa din si madame" one of the staff said.

"Mam Tasia, hindi po ba papasok si madame?" Tasia check her phone to see if Leni message her but she did not. "Hindi ko alam eh, hindi naman tumatawag sakin" she answered.

"Teka nga pupuntahan ko na sa bahay" she said as she took her bag. Tasia's also worried of Seryo, he's been in critical condition for a long time. They couldn't find a donor but she's still hopeful.

She went to Leni's house, the guard informed her that Leni left the house last night, alone. Tasia started calling her but her phone's off.

Then she calls Bongbong, after a few rings, he answers, "hello Tasia..." there's something in his voice that Tasia couldn't figure out.

"Good morning Sir, alam mo po ba nasaan si madame?"

"Bakit? Wala sa bahay?" The alarm in his voice is so noticeable, "oo sir eh, alam mo ba kung nasaan siya?"

"Hi- hindi pero mag kausap pa kami kagabi. Tinawagan mo na ba"

Tasia scratch her head as she looks around, hoping Leni will be there. "Yes sir, naka patay po yung phone. San po kaya pwede mag punta yun?"

"Hindi ko din alam, saglit lang may tatawagan ako" he said. Then the phone call ended.

Tasia went inside house to ask the maids but even them doesn't know where she is. "Narinig lang namin silang nag aaway ni BBM kagabi" the maid said.
