Cheryl's POV"Ugh, remind me why we thought sleeping at the top of the castle was a good idea? My back is killing me," she complained as Toni carried her bridal style into the house.
"It's probably because you slept with your junk in the air and you were all bent up like a question mark," Toni responded with a chuckle.
"I'm too sore to be annoyed by you right now." She nuzzled Toni's neck and giggled when she felt her wife shudder. "Wanna give me a backrub?"
"Not particularly, no."
"You're the worst! I am your wife, and I demand a massage!"
"Cher, you do realize that I could drop you right now, right?"
"Yeah, but you wouldn't, because you're too soft." Toni nodded and then Cheryl suddenly felt herself falling. Luckily, she landed on their plush mattress. She sat up, surprised and Toni stood in front of her smirking. "You are such a little shit!"
"Don't challenge me, you always lose."
"Um, no I don't. Name one time you've beaten me in a challenge."
"Literally yesterday, when you said I couldn't make you come in under a minute."
Cheryl paused, still glaring at Toni. "Name four more times."
Toni held out her hand and counted them off one by one. "We were thirteen and you said I couldn't eat an entire pizza by myself, we were sixteen and you said I couldn't jump from my roof into the pool, we were twenty one and you said I wouldn't do the shot that was lit on fire, and last month when you said I couldn't set up the hammock outside. Four challenges, all completed because I am a champion."
Cheryl kicked off her shoes and pushed Toni aside. "Yeah, well you're also a royal pain in my ass." She stripped off all of her clothes and turned on the shower. She brushed her teeth while she waited for the water to warm up. Peeking outside to the bedroom, she saw that Toni was sitting on the bed and digging through the duffle bag they had from the night before.
"Baby, how many syringes did we have?"
"Five, why?" She rinsed her mouth and paused before entering the shower where she would essentially be mute to all things around her.
"I only see four in here. Are you positive we had five?"
"Yes, I am one hundred percent sure."
"Well, then the next person to go up there will have a lovely surprise. Can I join you in there?"
"I would say no, but would it really matter?"
Toni stood up, slipped out of her pants, and tossed off her shirt. "Definitely not, but I just wanted to be polite."
Cheryl rolled her eyes and stepped into the shower. She stood under the water and ran her fingers through her hair until the water was proving it too difficult. The door opened and she immediately melted into her wife's body pressed against her back. She felt Toni's hands on her waist and her lips on her shoulder.
"You are so incredibly beautiful baby," Toni whispered.
"Shut up, no I'm not."
"You really are. You're the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen." Toni couldn't even see her but her cheeks got red and she grinned like an insane person.
"Toni, stopppp," she said quietly.
"No, why should I? You deserve to be called gorgeous every single day."
