"I didn't know you're a good cook," Taehyung says, leaning against the fridge with crossed arms as he watches Yoongi scramble around the kitchen in search of a specific pot.
"There's a lot you're yet to know about me," Yoongi replies, opening the drawers and slamming them shut.
"Why are you searching for the pot in the drawers?"
Yoongi pauses dumbfoundedly. "I forgot what I was looking for."
"Alzheimers? Is that another thing I'm yet to know about you?" Taehyung mocks.
"Fuck you."
Taehyung chuckles to himself. A sudden wave of nausea washes over him as his head spins, his vision blurring. He reaches a hand to the counter to steady himself as the clattering noises Yoongi was making stop abruptly.
"You alright there?" He hears Yoongi ask, his voice muffled.
Taehyung's head stops spinning and his vision clears. His eyes drift back to Yoongi to see a concerned look on his face, the pot finally in his hand.
"You found the pot," Taehyung notes.
"Good to know you're not blind," Yoongi tries to joke, but the worry on his face comes back as soon as it washes away, "Your nose is bleeding."
Taehyung puts his hand to his nose and pulls it back to see bright blood covering his fingers. He furrows his eyebrows in confusion before his vision grows hazy once more, and this time when he reaches for the counter, he fails to grip it, and the world fades to black.

Yoongi knows Taehyung is dying.
He knows because when he and Seol were kids, she was so fascinated with hybrids they were all she ever talked about, so everything he had learned about hybrids had been against his will; he never thought the information would ever come in handy. Not until now maybe. But just because Yoongi knows what's happening doesn't mean he knows what he's supposed to do.
Taehyung passed out out of nowhere, and Yoongi froze in panic for a second before carrying Taehyung to his bed, then he panicked some more because he wasn't sure whether he should drive him to the hospital or simply just let him be. He decided on the latter, and opted for checking on him every 15 minutes before rushing back to the kitchen so his food doesn't burn.
Yoongi is almost done when he hears Taehyung's bedroom door open, followed by footsteps towards the front door. He rushes to it to find Taehyung about to leave.
"Where the fuck do you think you're going?" Yoongi asks, arms crossed with a scowl on his face.
"I need some fresh air," Taehyung replies as he ties his shoelaces.
Yoongi opens his mouth to protest, but he closes it when a thought crosses his mind. The dude is dying anyway, just let him do whatever the fuck he wants.
"Get some eggs on your way back," Yoongi says, turning around to head back to the kitchen, "We're almost out."

Taehyung wants to visit his grandma's grave, except he doesn't really know where she's buried. He had headed to the train station, taken the first train to Daegu, and only upon arriving did he realise he doesn't know where her grave is. So here he is, in front of the house he grew up in as a child. He knows her two sons had inherited her house, but he isn't completely sure whether they had sold it or not.
There's only one way to find out, Taehyung thinks to himself before ringing the doorbell. He hears the sound of quick footsteps before the door swings open, and a little girl stands in front of him, craning her neck to look at Taehyung.
She stares at him curiously, taking in his dog ears and tail before scrunching her nose in disgust. "Daddy says hybrids shouldn't exist."
Yup, definitely one of the two sons.
"Well, I would like to have a word with your daddy about that." Taehyung smiles widely enough for his sharp canines to show.
The girl's eyes widen in fear before running inside and calling for her dad.
She's a child, Taehyung thinks to himself, did you really have to do that?
The girl's dad shows up a minute later, and Taehyung recognises him. How can he ever forget the faces of the men who kicked him out on the streets at the age of seven?
"Who are you and what the fuck do you want?" The man glares, looking Taehyung up and down.
"Where is Go Jung Won buried?" Taehyung simply asks, feeling weird saying his grandma's name aloud. He's only ever really known it, but never really spoke it.
"What the fuck is your business with my mother?" The man spits before his eyes flash in realisation, and a wicked smile makes its way to his face. "Ah, you're that fucker she owned, huh? I'm not telling you shit, pig."
The man proceeds to shut the door, but Taehyung kicks it and with a loud bang, it flies open. He grabs the man's collar, and slams him against the wall, making him quiver in fear.
"Listen very carefully," Taehyung snarls, "I've killed men before and I don't have long left to live so consequences mean nothing to me. The only thing stopping me from gutting you right now is the fact that your mother was good to me, so you better tell me where she's buried or you won't live to see tomorrow."
"Daddy?"
Taehyung snaps his head to the little girl who stumbles back at the intensity of his gaze. Her lower lip wobbles as her eyes fill with tears.
"It's okay, baby," Her dad says to her, "Dad's just talking to a friend. Go to your room, okay?"
The girl obliges, and Taehyung feels the tiniest bit of guilt rising inside. He stomps it down, and stares back at the man.
"I'll tell you where she is," The man says with a trembling voice, "Just put me down. I have kids, man."
Taehyung lets go of the man who doesn't hesitate anymore to tell him where his grandma is buried.
