📆: February 16th, 2023
📍: Cheryl's Warehouse, Tribeca Manhattan, NY

Cheryl sighs heavily as she and Veronica set the last sewing Machine onto the box. "I'm so glad we thought of making a savings account for this. Now everyone will be able to put their ideas to life." the model hums.

"Thanks again for helping, V."

"Of course, you know I always have your back." the Latina grins softly. "And I'm so happy for you! Everything seems to be working out in your favor." Veronica looks around the beautifully designed warehouse. There were desk stall setups in the corner of the room where the redhead's employees could monitor and print out their sketch designs. It's also where they launch Cheryl's clothing articles on the website.

There is a mini kitchen in the other corner with a glass table for eating. The floors are made of marble and the walls are a beautiful quartz white. There is also a station where the sewing machines are–hence what the two women were previously setting up–and the fabrics and threads are in the other room, which they also sell so sometimes the place is packed with people coming in and out.

"Yeah...we're starting small though. Soon, this place will be a skyscraper with my very own name on it." Cheryl says firmly with a smile. With a lot of hard work and patience, the beauty guru knows that she'll be able to make this place something grand.

As for her makeup line, she's still working on that with Pauline, who will be coming by the warehouse later in the day to discuss more with her.

"I can't wait to see it." Veronica simpers. "I've gotta go, Reggie is taking me to one of his football presses. Says it's crucial or whatever that means."

"I'm so glad you two worked out. Bring him around sometime, Toni and I would love a double date." her best friend offers her a hug which she accepts.

"I will." the fellow model chuckles. "I'm sure he'd love to see Toni again. They sure did get along during her party last year."

"Oh tell me about it. Athletes have the same brain." Cheryl rolls her eyes. "I'll call you later, V. Love you."

"I love you too." the woman replies before she is on her way.

With a sigh, the redhead takes a seat while running her hands through her hair. Truth is, things haven't been going the way she planned. They're having sales, yes, but business has been slow. She's been working on getting Collabs with other clothing brands to bring attention to her brand but as mentioned before, business has been slow.

Pauline, her assistant/manager, has been doing her best to keep up with all of her emails, calls, etc. She just hopes when the woman comes by today she has some good news.

"Hey, Ms. B!" one of her employees gains her attention. Cheryl looks up to see the young girl carrying a roll of what seems to be silky fabric.

"Hey, Julia." she offers the younger girl a small smile while standing up. "What can I do for you?"

"Nothing, Ms. I was just making sure you're alright. You seem to be a bit stressed." Julia concedes.

"Oh, yes, I'm okay, Julia. Just a bit tired from this week." the woman reassures. "Making something new?" she points to the content in her hands.

"Nothing too fancy. Justin is getting a puppy and he wants me to make a cute jacket for him." she giggles. Justin is Julia's twin brother–out of triplets–Jordyn is her twin sister. Cheryl had the honor of meeting them on the day of the warehouse's grand opening.

Cheryl looks at the girl before her eyes widen. "Julia, you're a genius!"

"I am?" the college girl looks confused when her boss pulls her into a quick hug before rushing off to her office. She looks off in the direction of the woman who has stormed off before shrugging and setting the roll of silk onto the table in front of her.
