It was a bit startling when the thing to pull you out of your thoughts was loud. Very loud. What was that loud thing you may ask? Crowley yelled certainly not while slamming the doors open.
"Ah, He's back."
Y/n looked up and saw people. A lot of people. Too many people. She pulled the hood farther over her face in hopes to make herself seem invisible.
"Of all the ridiculousness! We were missing one of our newest students so I took it upon myself to go and retrieve them." He defended. He turned to y/n. "Now, it seemed you are the last to be sorted. Leave the raccoon to me and present yourself before the Dark Mirror."
As y/n stepped towards the mirror, she could feel all of their eyes on her. She felt as if she had to dissect a body in front of people. The task itself to her was easy but in front of others other than her father felt difficult. Much more difficult.
The mirror's face stared and then spoke. "State thy name."
"Stein. Y/n Stein." she said slowly. The mirror hummed.
"The shape of thy soul is..." It paused. Narrowed its eyes. Made a sound of confusion, surprise, and horror. "ʷʰᵃᵗ ᶦⁿ ᵗʰᵉ ⁿᵃᵐᵉ ᵒᶠ ᵗʰᵉ ᵍʳᵉᵃᵗ ⁷ AHEM. T-the shape of thy soul is a-a mystery to me."
"Impossible!" Crowel shouted.
"Formless yet moldable. Colorful yet colorless. I sense not a speck of magic yet there is something much stronger. Perhaps even slightly electric. However, that is all I can read from a small portion of such a large soul. With such small information, I can not properly determine what dorm she fits in. Therefore she belongs in no dorm."
Students began to whisper amounts themselves. "A magicless student?" "Didn't the mirrors also say they were a girl?" "What's a girl doing in an all boys' school?"
"This is preposterous! For the last hundred years of our school's history, never once has there been a person that was Dark Mirror was unable to sort! Nor has the Ebony Carriage EVER brought forth a select student with no magical potential." Crowly shouted.
Grim began to wiggle in his restraints. "Let me in instead! Unlike this useless human, I can use magic! Let me show you."
"Everyone get down!" Y/n yelled as a big wave of fire was fired from Grim.
"Wah! HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT! My pants are on fire!" Another person yelled.
"It had set fire to everything! Someone catch that troublesome raccoon." Crowley shouts.
"I will not participate in this." One person with braids said. The pretty person next to him placed his hands on his hips. "Oh? And here I thought you were a natural hunter. Surely you must be tempted by such a nice, juicy snack." The man with the braids scowled. "Why? Do it yourself." "Is someone gonna help me?!"
Y/n frowned. Did they not care that the building they were in could burn down on top of them at any minute? Y/n went over and grabbed the boy running around like a chicken without a head by the hood of his robe and proceeded to stomp out the fire. The boy sighed in relief now that the fire on his clothing was gone. "Thank you." He said to which y/n nodded.
"Is no one listening to me?" Crowley shouted. The one with the braids from earlier said, "It's just a stupid raccoon. Why can't you catch 'em?" Grim did not like that. "For the last time, I am not a raccoon! I am Grim! The great and powerful! And I will become the greatest magician in histor-"
Something flew by Grim's head causing him to jump to the right in shock. For some reason, it all went silent as the clicking from y/n's boots echoed through the room. "Good grief, for something so small you sure are loud." All eyes went to y/n while there was a small ticking sound that came from her direction. The stance she had screamed danger. "You should s-" Grim ran. Y/n's eye twitched. "Or start running." So the chase between a flaming cat and a magicless student started.
A sliver haired male looked over to a red haired person beside him. "Should we go help Master Riddle?" Riddle nodded. "Delinquents shall not be tolerated Azul. Plus a magicless person going after something that spews fire would be a suicide." And so both Riddle and Azul joined the chase as well.
... (everyone say hi to Jenny. Jenny wishes you a good day or night)
Somewhere in the corner, a figure smiled to themselves.
"How chaotic." They giggled and disappeared within the croud. This was certainly diffrent.
