I really want to showcase [name] and Elima's relationship this chapter
Also, I changed the cover art. Why? Yes.

The morning had come faster than anyone had anticipated. Many people from the Heartslabyul dorm gathered around to witness the rumored battle between the prefect and a few dormmates. Since they were not apart of the dorm, the Ramshackle crew (Grim, Elima, and [name]) sat on the sidelines with the other onlookers. [Name]'s ears picked up on bits and pieces of what the boys around her were saying. It was always something along the lines of disbelief that this was actually happening and how stupid the boys were for even trying. However, their words quickly went in through on eat and out the other. For the dorm head of Ramshackle had her thoughts occupied with something else. Specifically, what happened last night.

By the time they returned to the Ramshackle dorm, it was already sunset. Deuce and Ace had made themselves comfortable in some of the cleaner furniture of the dorm's lounge. They muttered a goodnight to the other three before clocking out themselves. Making their way to their room, there was an air of awkwardness between the two humans outworlders. Grim, luckily, was too tired to notice anything and went lights out the moment his head hit the pillows.

Elima and [name] sat on the edge of the bed in silence. Elima opened his mouth to say something only to be cut off when [name] raised her hand. "Before you ask any questions," you said with a sigh, "let me start from the beginning." Elima nodded but stayed silent. You sighed again and began to tell him. You told him about the solo mission you went on, the mirror in the window of the shop, then you passing out and then waking up in Night Raven Collage. You told him all about the dark mirror, how you met the Adeuce duo, the weird monster in the mine, and finally about the voice. You told him about what the voice told you, the deal you made, and its requirements. You talked about how you didn't completely trust the voice and had absolutely no idea what an overbolt is or if the voice can even be trusted. You told him about how you felt scared and angry at yourself for getting into this situation and at the dark mirror for bringing you here.

You talked and talked and talked. And Elima listened. Not once did he interrupt you. You sighed as you finally finished explaining everything. There was silence once again. A part of you wanting for him to say something anything. Call you stupid for making such a brash decision, taunt you for losing your cool, or something! But no. He stayed silent. Elima reached out and wrapped his arms around your frame, pulling you closer into the hug. He let out a sigh as he rested his head on top of yours. "I'm sure you made the right choice. Even if you didn't, I'll be by your side to help you through it. You know why? Because we're friends and partners. As long as you've got my back, I've got yours. Forever till the end and that's a promise."

You nodded into his chest while returning his hug. "Forever till the end." A comfortable silence encased the two, yet they refused to let go of each other. Simply content in the presence of the other.

"You promised so now you can't go dying on me." You said, voice slightly muffled.

Elima chuckled, "Alright alright. You too."

A small smile rose to your face at the memory. However, it quickly disappeared as you suddenly remembered what happened after that.
