Curse or Cure (Murphy x 10K)

No matter what I do all I think about is you?

Citizen Z watched in horror at the sky as a missile flew straight toward his base. He didn't know what to think right now, he never betrayed Murphy and them, he didn't know it was Dr. Kurian who was going to be there instead of Dr. Merch. He heard his base's alarms go off then it fired its own set of missiles into the sky at the one coming for him. It was the base's defense to protect itself from such an attack. Once the missiles collided the aftershock blasted Citizen Z back onto his backside knocking him out cold. Half of his base was badly damaged by the blast, some of the walls were destroyed and even parts of the roof were as well.

Meanwhile, Warren found a tunnel on the road that she drove into to take shelter from the blast. It flipped the car a few times but no one was really hurt, besides Doc who was already hurt from being shot.

Both 10k and Warren crawled out of the flipped car and then helped Doc out as well. They all stood up and then looked at the end of the tunnel they drove into, they saw it was now raining ash from the sky. She sighed at the mess Murphy had made for everyone. Now the big mission was to try and find him.

When Citizen Z came too, he took out a few Z's that entered his base from the plane that crashed just outside of his base with all his old army buddies. He went back inside to his main area and then started to block off the entrance to it so no Z's would attack him. He looked over at his computers and saw most were destroyed or broken, he had a few that worked but not a lot, he needed to find a way to see if Murphy was still alive, even Warren and her group as well. He had to find a way somehow. Then an idea kicked in as he grabbed his mic to make a broadcast all over.

"This is Citizen Z broadcasting on all frequencies. This is an emergency broadcast. Repeat. This is an emergency broadcast. Literally life and death for the human race. Now there's a man traveling among you. He's the only human known to have survived a zombie bite. His blood has the antibodies to create a vaccine. Now it is imperative that he be transported alive to the Centers for Disease Control Lab in California." He said over the mic as he could hear zombies wandering the halls close by. "His name is Murphy. Last saw in Fort Collins, Colorado. Six foot two. Dark hair. Numerous bite marks on the torso. Known to control zombies. Should be considered armed and dangerous. Keep alive at all costs. Repeat. Keep him alive at all costs." He knew no one would willingly just go out and do this for nothing so he had to think of something to reward anyone who gets Murphy then the idea hit him. "The Centers for Disease Control is offering an enormous bounty for Murphy's safe delivery to be paid in whatever form you desire, as well as being first in line for any cure developed. If you can hear this broadcast...save humanity. Save yourself. Find Murphy." Citizen Z said as he placed his mic down and hope someone heard his broadcast.

Murphy stopped at the next town to find some clothes to wear, he had been driving naked this whole time and needed something to cover himself up. He got out of the van and then entered an old clothing store.

Meanwhile, Mack drove up to where Addy moved too and saw there wasn't much left of the place, it was all burnt down and everyone was dead beside his love. He saw her taking out a few z's on her own. 

Addy turned to face the man she loved with tears in her eyes. "They're all dead." She finally said, looking away from him with shame in her eyes. 

"How?" Mack asked coldly, with hurt still lingering in his voice from her leaving him the way she did.

"We were on the hill watching the lights."  She explained.

"I think those were nukes."

"That's what I thought. Figured what was left of the world was trying to kill itself. Anyway, the boy they banished because he turned thirteen? He figured it out. Came back. Set the whole place on fire... and released the zombie bear." Addy said, with a long sad sigh.
