Chapter 8 📖- Backstory

Chaeryeong's POV:
We went upstairs to Taehyun room, it look pretty comfy here. It look messy at the same time organize.... so yeah, the room is nice. I saw lots of boxes and a small shelf of books.

"Oh, there are more books inside those boxes. Since I have a small shelf, I put the rest of them on a drawer or boxes." he said. "Your lucky, you have have a whole collection Harry Potter books. I only have three of them thought since there pretty expensive." I said. "I'm actually done with reading them, so you may borrow if like" Taehyun said. "Really! Thank you Taehyun! I've been enjoying reading the series!" I said in and excitement and hugged him......

Wait, hugged him!? I started to realize what I did and became frozen. Then we made eye contact each other for minutes. I checked if someone is there since the door is opened and few no is her except us. That will be a third embarrassment if it happens. My cheeks turned red and flustered.

We were just continuing stuff like nothing happens. "Sorry if this question bothered you but, why did you hide yourself for reading books?" I asked nervously.

Taehyun's POV:
My face dropped and find my old books in one of the boxes. "Chaeryeong , here are my old books that I read back at my old school." I placed my books at Chaeryeong's hand. She opened my books that some pages were ripped off. "Why are some pages are ripped?" She said. "Well I'll explain." I said while we sitting in my bed.

"You see, my old classmates and other students at my old school made fun of me just because I'm the only student who read books. While others don't. The rest of them complain when our teacher told us to read an assigned book." I said. "My bullies sometimes ripped some pages of my or drop it and step it. That makes me lose myself and hard to make friends. I told my mom and she told the principle about the situation. He was upset that he told the students no to ruin books and no phones allowed at school." I said makes Chaeryeong feel bad.

"I do feel bad for you, your better now after the situation?" She asked. "Well, I feel better now, but the things is that, I don't want to happen to this ever again." She nodded. She patted my shoulder and smiled.

"HEY CHAERYEONG AND TAEHYUN, COME DOWNSTAIRS! WERE PLAYING A GAME!"Kai and Yuna screamed downstairs like my ears are gonna bleed. We went downstairs and saw the rest of them at the living room. "You don't have to scream that loud." Chaeryoung said to the youngest. "We are also gonna have a game night" Ryujin and Beomgyu carrying a set of board games.

"Are you guys ready!" Chaeyeon said.
