Chapter 17 📖- Shop Consequence

Chaeryeong's POV:
We have now arrived at the mall. It's not big, but it has good stores and restaurants. "I feel like I'm not used to it. Why sister? Well back in Manila, their malls are big, so there were times that I'm lost. Even the Mall of Asia (MOA)." Makes sense though. We decided to be separated. I decided to come with Taehyun for shopping. "Taehyun lets go!" I dragged him. "Alright uh." He almost tripped, sorry hehe.

We went to a clothes store near us. It was my favorite clothing store. I decided to buy more jackets and sweaters since it's almost winter. "What do you think?" I want him to pick both sweaters. "Uhh, maybe this one." he pointed at the black sweater with a cat drawing. I was ok on what he picked. It looked cute anyways. "Alright, let's head to the cashier." We went to the cashier and paid for our clothes.

Then, we went to another clothing store. I also decided to buy more shirts and pants since my wardrobe is pretty empty. I also let Taehyun go and look around the store if he wants to buy anything. I went to the section of some cute shirts and crop tops. I also want to buy more pants and shorts, maybe a skirt also. I tried to check some of the sizes while my hands were full of clothes. I was normally walking through the hallways until I bumped to someone, well a group of people.

"Well well well, Isn't Lee Chaeryeong." Oh no it's Byeol. She is the one messing me around, well a bully in school. What should I do?! "Hey! Are you buying these? They look ugly and cheap. Well, while we go to the expensive section." She threw the clothes from my hand and they laughed. "Oh! Also, I forgot something." She started to kick me and I fell in pain. "Bye bye loser." They laughed and walked out.

Taehyun's POV:
I was normally checking the aisle, then I heard Chaeryeong's voice. I checked and saw three girls and the one who is most likely the leader with Chaeryeong's while her knee is bleeding. The three girls left. "Chaeryeong! What happened?!" I went to her in a panic. "Its...its" then her tears went out of her eyes and started crying. I hugged her and wiped her tears.

"Do you and the other girls know each other? Well they are my bullies in school. The girl in the middle is Byeol, the leader of the group." Byeol....does she sound familiar? "One of our classmates told me that she is part of the class, but she was absent during the first day until now with her group mates." so, there were groups of bullies in this school, I never knew that.

"But, what happened?" she looked down to her knees while I put a bandage to her wounds. "Well, they made fun of me with the clothes. They think they look cheap and low quality while they are not. Since her family is rich, she was able to go to the "expensive" shops in this mall." Well, the same as usual. "Then she kicked my leg and fell with a wound on my right knee." I listened to Chaeryeong's story, but why is Byeol even in this store if she thinks they are low quality. In a moment, I started to feel some anger inside. She is not supposed to be treated like this. Money does not do anything!

We picked the clothes and headed to the cashier. "I kinda feel a little pain in my right leg." Chaeryeong struggles to walk fast with her right leg. I decided to help her and I said, "Take it easy, Chaer. You may hold my hand." She held my hand and walked normally. "You ok miss?" the cashier said in a worry to her. "Well, she is fine, I placed a bandage, but her leg hurts a little." I responded to her.

"I was aware of what happened when I needed to get something. She is the same customer who is always rude to me even if I didn't have a great day." We both feel sorry for her. I really think that this girl starts with the letter "B" was a brat. "I'm so sorry for what happened. I hope people start to respect and be kind to others." Chaeryeong said.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it. Also, are you guys together as couples?" Then a sudden question. We froze and didn't have a single blink. "Well.....ummm...no we're just friends. Yeahhh." We respond awkwardly. "Oh sorry. It's just that you looked good together." my cheeks feel pretty warm. "It's ok..." Chaeryeong said. "Thank you for coming! Comeback next time!" We went out to the store.

"We should meet the rest of them again. Ok."
