Pt. 28

3rd Person POV

Coming back home from Grandma's Jungkook noticed the shop had been closed up earlier than usual.

Without Jungkook's knowledge..

Inside the shop was Jimin and the whole crew upstairs gossiping.

Jimin's research attempt had failed and he called up Taehyung, who was eager to help him.

Although...Along with Taehyung's arrival he brought along Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hobi.

Currently they're all upstairs discussing events they've missed when they weren't around.

Jimin caught them up to his and Jungkook's relationship and is now asking them if they know anything about a vibrant pink string.

Everyone was dumbfounded and had no idea what he was talking about.

Before they knew there was a knock on the front door and they all jumped.

"HELLO??? Jimin???" Jungkook yelled from outside causing everyone to scatter.

"WHY ARE YALL HIDING? ITS NOT LIKE WERE DOING DRUGS" Taehyung yelled at the Hyungs who hurriedly went back to their seats.

"I'll get the door" Taehyung said after rolling his eyes because of his hyungs antics.

Jungkook eyebrow perked up when he saw Taehyung walking down the stairs rather than Jimin.

Jungkook was about to throw questions at Taehyung, but Tae shushed him.

"We're having a meeting right now. You're in timeout. Go to the storage room." Taehyung said and Jungkook crossed his arms.

Taehyung sighed and pinched his ear and dragged him to the storage room.

"OW OW OW OW" Jungkook yelled in pain and Taehyung let go.

"Now stay here and don't move a muscle!" Taehyung pointed at a certain spot on the floor which Jungkook crawled to like a little puppy.

Taehyung went back up stairs and noticed everyone was looking at him when he came back.

"Did you hurt him?" Seokjin asked and Taehyung shrugged.

"Maybe. At least he won't be bothering us." Taehyung said causing Jimin to smack him.

"He's still my boyfriend you idiot" Jimin said making Taehyung laugh and snuggle with him.

"Okay..So what is different about your string from before?" Yoongi asked and Jimin took a pause to think.

"Well...It burns a lot more when I make contact with him.. Almost like a burning sensation, but it gets uncomfortable after awhile which makes me not wanna be close every second" Jimin confessed and they started thinking.

"So it burns like a 'STAY AWAY' type of burn? or a 'I NEED MORE' type of burn?" Hoseok asked and Jimin fiddled with his string.

"I believe the second one, but it's so intense that I want to 'stay away', you know?" Jimin said and they all cohesively nodded.

"Hmm...Okay..This is odd.." Namjoon said while massaging his temple.

"Honestly Jimin I don't think we can help much in this situation.." Namjoon continued after a sigh.

"Yeah, I'm sorry but it's true" Yoongi agreed and Jimin threw his face in a pillow and screamed.

After his little tantrum Jimin flipped over to his back and exhaled.

"You guys are right..I'm sorry for dragging y'all here.." Jimin said and they all shook their head.

"No! Don't be! We all got a call from Taehyung so you can blame him, but we're all happy to be here with you Jimin! It's been so long" Seokjin exclaimed making Jimin smile.

Taehyung pouted and sighed.

The boys except Taehyung all bid their goodbyes.

They went downstairs to say goodbye to Jungkook and told him to stay down there still.

Taehyung turned to Jimin and gave him a big hug.

"Hey..What's the matter?" Jimin asked and Taehyung cried into his shirt.

"I guess after some thinking I feel horrible that I said those mean words...In the moment I meant them" Taehyung said looking Jimin in the eyes.

"And after throughly thinking, I feel jealous and empty that I lost my 'unofficial' soulmate" Taehyung sobbed some more causing Jimin to hug him tightly.

"Hey..Just because I'm not always with you like before, doesn't mean you're not my platonic soulmate" Jimin said and Taehyung backed away.

"Yeah.. I know, it's just that everyone has found someone that makes them happy" Taehyung said wiping his tears.

"Tae Tae..You'll find them I promise...Even if it'll take a little longer.. At least you're not like me!" Jimin said enthusiastically making Taehyung chuckle.

"I wish I was like you Jimin..." Taehyung said hugging him once more.

"Someone kind and forgiving, DESPITE HATING SOULMATES! But still you forgave me and loved me even when I said bad things" Taehyung said causing Jimin to cry.

"Shut up.." Jimin said with a sniffle.

"I'm glad you're my bestfriend.." Taehyung said then kissing Jimin on the cheek.

"I'm glad you're my bestfriend too" Jimin said hugged Taehyung tighter.

"I'll get going now..I forced that dog to sit still for about an hour" Taehyung said guiltily and Jimin gasped.

"MY POOR JUNGKOOK!" Jimin yelled and Taehyung smacked him.

"He's a grown ass man he can sit still for a second" Taehyung said making Jimin laugh.

"Okay seriously let's go check on him because he probably took me seriously.." Taehyung said dragging Jimin with him.

When they entered the storage room Jungkook had stayed in the same position for the past hour making Taehyung feel guilty.

"Oh my god you're such an idiot" Taehyung said walking to him and shoving Jungkook lightly.

"AH MY BACK" Jungkook yelled making Taehyung laugh.

"Get up boy toy" Taehyung said yanking Jungkook upwards.

"I'll be going" Taehyung said hugging Jimin once more while Jungkook was adjusting his posture.

"Bye Tae Tae~" Jimin said waving him goodbye.

Now it's just Jimin and Jungkook.

"Why don't I have a cute nickname?" Jungkook asked and Jimin looked over to him.

"I call you Jeon sometimes" Jimin said and Jungkook shook his head.

"It's not a cute one" Jungkook said and Jimin thought for a second.

"How about Kook?" Jimin said without knowing Jungkook's past.

"No." Jungkook sternly said taking Jimin aback.

"Hmm..How about shithead?" Jimin said and Jungkook smiled and hugged him.

"Perfect~" Jungkook said while landing a kiss on Jimin's cheek which caused Jimin's string to burn intensely.

Jimin pushed Jungkook lightly away from him making Jungkook confused.

Jimin had to play it off lightly and run away.

"JIMIN COME BACK HERE!" Jungkook said chasing him up the stairs.

Before Jungkook could reach him, Jimin locked himself in the bathroom.

Jungkook smirked and started to plan what he was going to do to Jimin when he gets out.

He laid on the bed while waiting for his prey.

But his prey was smarter and just stayed in the bathroom.

Eventually, Jungkook fell asleep and was knocked out by the time Jimin came out.

"What a cutie" Jimin said before laying down next to Jungkook and falling asleep.
