Pag dating namin above ground ay sinalubong kami ng water spear mula sa isa sa mga invaders. Mabuti nalang at mabilis si Mage Mia at nag-cast agad siya ng fire wall.
Mages from this world can cast spells of different attributes pero laging may isa o dalawa na nag eexcel sila. And Mage Mia excels both on fire and earth magic.
The invaders once again launched multiple water spears pero nag evaporate ito mang tumama sa fire wall ni Mage Mia.
"Ahhh!" Daing ko nang tamaan ako ng ice lance mula sa taas. The fire wall only encircles us kaya open ang taas namin. The ice lance came from an enemy na nasa tower.
Radephon came over me.
"Bakit ka ba tulala?! You're fucking in a battlefield! Snap out of it, damn it!" Aniya. Kumunot ang noo ko dahil imbis na tanungin ako kung okay ako e sinermonan pa ako.
He casted a light healing spell mula sa braso ko na tinamaan ng ice lance. He then placed me behind him.
"Don't move. You can't properly use magic so you better not be a burden." Ani pa nito bago sunod sunod na magpa ulan ng fire balls sa kalaban na nasa tower.
Bang!
Boom!

Sobrang ingay mg paligid. At mula sa kinatatayuan ko, I can see the once impregnable fortress Eburnean tower crumble.
Sunod sunod ang naging pagsabog sa paligid. Maging ang lupa ay gumagalaw dahil sa lakas ng mga pagsabog.
"Just hold on mages! Reinforcements will arrive soon!" Sigaw ni Mage Mia.
Patuloy ang naging pagpapalitan ng grupo namin at mga kalaban ng spells. Both side acquire damage but no one conceded.
I'm sorry, Mage Mia but reinforcements won't arrive soon.
Soon after Mage Mia said that, a translucent, dome like barrier enveloped the whole tower grounds.
Natigilan ang lahat, maging ang invaders. This was not part of their plan.
Who casted this enormous barrier?
Nakatulala si Mage Mia at si Mage Robert, ang isa pang mage na kasama namin.
'I can't be wrong. This ... This barrier ...'
"Absolute ... Barrier."
Yes. This was the legendary barrier that no one can penetrate nor anyone can break. The most powerful yet most difficult barrier spell a mage can cast.
But this absolute barrier is only half-complete. Unlike the true absolute barrier, this is only 40-50% of the original. But it's hard to cast nevertheless.
"W-what's happening?"
