MANA is a type of energy used as fuel to do magic. It is innate. All living beings are intrinsically born with mana but only a few can wield it.

MAGIC is a practice to create and/or do something (the caster desires and/or imagines) by the use of mana and spells. Can only be done by MAGICIANS, individuals who have a high affinity with mana and can efficiently and effectively use it.

SPELLS are the other elements, more of a command-- single or multiple words, needed in Magic. It is a combination of formulas and a magician's desire and imagination

MAGIC DEVICES are devices that can be used by ordinary people. Powered by mana. Used in the daily lives of people. Only needs a command to activate.

ARTIFACTS are things crafted using special materials for magicians to use. Features, abilities, and use vary from one to another. Can only be crafted by a master craftsman. Needed magic (mana + spell) to activate.

SORCERY is a malevolent practice. It is also called black magic. Often associated with evil spirits. Uses dead mana, mana born from the leftover grudges and attachment of the dead to the world. It is learned rather than innate. (e.g Necromancy)

SORCERERS, those who practice sorcery. Unlike magicians, they learn to do sorcery rather than having a natural talent for it. (e.g. Necromancer)

WITCHCRAFT, a practice associated with curses and contracts with devils. Includes demonic rituals and human sacrifices. Used to harm people. Always needs invocations and other materials to activate. Learned rather than innate.

WITCH/WARLOCK those who practice witchcraft.

AETHER is a type of energy used in ancient times before mana. It is more powerful and concentrated than mana. Unlike mana, Aether can be used as it is. It doesn't need spells, incantation, and/or other elements and materials

MANA ORGAN, an orb-shaped organ the size of a pea located at the top and attached to a person's heart. This organ stores the mana of magicians. The magician's powerhouse. How much mana can be stored in the organ vary from magicians to magician. (Note: Not all mana stored in the mana organ can be consciously used.)

MANA LEVEL pertains to the ability of a magician's mana organ's capacity to hold mana.
