Chapter four

"All my life I've been known as lobster boy, Neptune's son, king of the sea-"
Jimmy rehearsed to himself

"Your still rehearsing?"
You smiled

"I- uhh-"
He turned around
"Yeah. After all these years i still get stage fright"

"Well.. don't be worried"
You smiled
"I'll be in the crowd"

"Right now i wanna throw up"
Jimmy sighed

"I can take your mind off it"
You said
"I'll just talk about my week until you forget you need to throw up"

Jimmy laughed

"Sure"
He said, sitting on the grass. You sat in front of him
"So, toots. How's your week been like?"

You smiled

"Well it all started when my friend, Marissa, she wanted me to bake her a cake so i said yes. It was the most beautiful vanilla cake i have ever baked. She explained it like it was an orgasm in her mouth, i don't blame her. Then i went to a café and i met the most handsome man i have ever seen in my life... then it was my birthday and i saw him again at the circus.."
You stared

"Woah- woah slow down.. most handsome man?"
Jimmy said

"Yeah, like i said, i saw him at the circus. He was so pretty i couldn't even comprehend what i saw.. Then i offered to go out and get coffee with him. He said yes so the next day we did.. he got beat up though.. that was upsetting. He took it like a champ though, i fell in love even more. Then i saw him the next day, we met in his trailer and i had the best kiss I've ever had in my life. He is just so gorgeous"
You smiled

"Who is this man? It seems like your living a particularly similar double life"
Jimmy joked
"But go on, keep explaining this man"

"Well he has the most perfect muddy brown eyes with the cutest swirl in his hair... it's chocolate color by the way, he's uhh.. taller than me and very kind. One of the most kindest men I've ever met in my life, he's also very.. very brave"
You smiled
"He's just perfect"

"He's perfect even though he's a freak?"
Jimmy asked

"He's not a freak!"
You defended
"He's like an angel"

Jimmy laughed

"He's smart and good looking!"
You layed back in the grass
"Very good looking"

"Well.. this girl... I've been seeing her almost every day this week"
Jimmy started, laying next to you
"She's also smart and good looking, hell.. she's the best looking woman I've ever met. She's kind.. she doesn't see the world like everyone else, she's fearless and loves people for who they are and not what they look like.. and she's the best kisser"

He laughed, you enjoyed the time you spent with him

"She's perfect.. she's not a freak like the guy she likes, she can pick anyone she likes but she picked him. He must feel like the luckiest guy in the whole of the world"
Jimmy laughed pitifully

You kissed his cheek

"We'll all i know is that she's the luckiest girl in the world to have someone like him"
You giggled
"Even if he is a freak, then she knows that there isn't another person in the world quite as special to her as he is"

Jimmy smiled

"See? She's perfect"
He whispered

"Do you feel sick anymore?"
You asked

"No"
He smiled

"Well them you need to strut onto that stage and give it all you got"
You sat up, Jimmy sat up with you

"I will, thank you"
He kissed your cheek, stood up and ran off to the tent

A few seconds later, you got up and walked to the tent

You sat in a seat and watched the show progress

It was a beautiful show, it was one of the best you've ever seen

After the show, you congratulated Jimmy

It was dark out and you were tired

"Hey, can i stay the night?"
You asked, looking at the swirl in jimmys hair

He nodded

"Uhh... s-sure"
He answered

You kissed his cheek and walked out of the tent, you walked into his trailer and picked up a book

You sat on the little couch and opened the book

You read for five minutes until the door opened

"Whatcha reading?"
Jimmy sat next to you

"A book"
You responded

"I have eyes"
Jimmy smiled

You passed the book to him

"I'm going to bed"
You yawned, standing up

You got into jimmys bed, he climbed in after you

"Night"
You mumbled

"Jimmy-"
His mom walked into his trailer

"Hm?"
You looked around and remembered you spent the night
"Oh, good morning Mrs. Darling"

"Mornin', sweetheart"
She said
"Jimmy! You gotta get up. It's elsa's birthday"

"A few more minutes, ma"
He groaned

"No, no more minutes. She wants everyone up, now"
His mom said

Jimmy sat up, you yawned

"See you in a sec-"

"I'm getting up too"
You mumbled, you stood up and brushed your dress

It was crinkled and creased, practically ruined for the day

Jimmy put on a fresh shirt and pulled you into the main tent

Everyone was giving Elsa gifts and presents for her birthday

Everyone except you

You took off a ring, it was one of your many experiences ones

That wasn't your favourite so you gave it to her

She marvelled at the beauty and expensiveness of the ring

"Oh, miracle.. my dear you shouldn't have got this.."
She said
"It's so expensive.. and are those real diamonds?"

You nodded to all her questions, Jimmy pulled you aside

"You didn't have to go out of your way to buy her something like that"
He whispered

"It's an old ring.. i got it a year or so ago"
You started
"It doesn't mean much to me as it has no sentimental value"

Jimmy nodded

"But that ring is pretty expensive"
He said

"Don't worry, I'll spend that kind of money on you if you like"
You smiled

"No! No, no.. I'm good with uhh.. normal stuff"
He said
"Not.. freakishly expensive stuff"

You nodded

"Sure"
You smiled
"So, we still going out to dinner?"

Jimmy nodded

"I'll go home to get ready then"
You patted his face
"See you soon"
