The funeral was the worst one you had ever been to

You and Jimmys mom were severely close towards the end of her life

You cried more than once during the funeral, you even baked a cake whilst they were putting the coffin together

You walked off with Jimmy, you held him up

"It's going to be okay, i promise"
You kept saying, over and over

Throughout the night, all you and Jimmy could do was cry

You both cried until you were sick

-

The morning came, you had to go home

You promised Jimmy you'd bring your own pyjamas

You told your mother about everything that happened at the circus, she let your relationship with Jimmy blossom

Your older brother, Malcom, hated the fact that you were dating a freak

He begged your parents not to fund your getaway with Jimmy

Your dad did press you about not getting with a man like dandy but he didn't really see the problem with being with Jimmy

You packed a bag full of your things and left to go to the circus in the morning

You arrived at 10ish in the morning, a new woman had arrived. She was a woman on the larger scale

You thought she was pretty

You felt someone lift you up

"You got your stuff?"
Jimmy asked

"I can stay here for a week tops"
You said
"I have an outfit for every day this week"

Jimmy nodded

You could smell the aroma of liquor

"Jimmy, darling?"
You asked

"That's my name"
He smiled

"Have you been drinking?"
You asked, setting down your suitcase

"Eh.. who's asking?"
He said, picking it up

"Me, this is serious"
You sighed, walking towards his trailer. Jimmy followed behind
"If your gonna drink you need to be responsible about it"

You opened the door, Jimmy walked in and you walked in after

You shut the door behind you

"Jimmy"
You sighed
"Please just.. hear me out. You need to drink responsibly. Have you even eaten anything today?"

He shook his head

"I'll make you something, and you'll promise me to never ever drink during work hours. I think that's fair"
You said

"Why would i wanna do that?"
He asked, setting down the bag

"Well.. your supposed to be in charge here"
You said, sadness filled you from heel to head

"Nothing makes sense"
Jimmy sat down
"It's not making sense"

"The best way to honour Ethel is to take care of business here. So we can leave"
You said, sitting next to him
"I want to have children with you, Jimmy. But we can't do that when your passed out behind the ferris wheel or.. or wallowing wherever"

"What's wrong with you?"
Jimmy asked, standing up sharply
"You sound like some old schoolmarm"

"I'm the girl who fell in love with an angel"
You said, your tone didn't raise like his
"My hero.. where is he?"
