You tied your hair back into a neat bun and waited close to your door
There wasn't a knock, you waited and waited until it turned nightfall
"Baby, don't you think he just... forgot?"
Your mom kept telling you
"He wouldn't forget"
You kept replying
The two reasons why he wouldn't come.. 1) he did forget.. 2) something bad happened at the circus
You were leaning towards the second option because there is no way that he would forget
It was close to 3 in the morning when there was a knock on the door
"I'm sorry I'm so late"
Jimmy laughed
You opened the door in a haze, you had fallen asleep at the dining room table waiting for him
"No it's.. fine"
You wiped away the sleep from your eyes
"What happened?"
"Elsa.. she.. almost killed Paul"
He said
"How did you know something was wrong?"
"Because you wouldn't forget"
You walked out the house and closed the door behind you
"So, where are we to go?"
"Oh- its a surprise so your going to have to wear this"
He passed you a blind fold, you put it on
Jimmy guided you to his motorbike and sped off
"So what's the surprise"
You asked
"I can't tell you that"
Jimmy said
"That would ruin it"
After a conversation, the bike stopped
Jimmy took your hand and guided you over to what felt like a table
He took off the blind fold, what sat in front of you was a well dressed table with candles and plants. It was Beautifully decorated
