Bosco's POV

I live in a little cottage in the forest near the walls of the palace with my two roommates Daya and Maddelyn (Maddy). Our home is simple, but it has everything I need. It's a calm place in touch with nature and it has a beautiful garden. There we plant everything we need for our studies and spells.

Oh yes. We are three apprentice witches.

To sustain ourselves we sell some cure potions and berries. As much as I'd like to live with only what nature gives us, we need money to buy books, clothing, special magical ingredients etcetera.

The reality is that I hate "normies".

They are just annoying, selfish and arrogant. I also don't like their society: feudalism, patriarch, exploration, prejudice...

That's why I just get out of our little paradise when it's extremely necessary.

Today is one of those days. We accumulated a lot of little things that needed to be resolved and let them for the next trip to the kingdom, but yesterday Daya's medicine ended and it is urgent. So me and my fellow witches got ready for our little adventure. We picked all the things we would sell and put them in bags, got some jars for our shoppings and picked up our brooms.

To make everything easier and faster we divided our tasks. Daya was in charge of buying medicine and food, Maddy take care of everything with magic involved (outside of the village) and I had to sell the potions, berries and even some craftwork. As we always do we agreed to meet in the little market when everything is done.

After we take our different directions I magically pitch a little tent and display all the products on it. A lot of people come to see it, curious with all the magic. Sells go pretty well as usual. I make effort to make small talk and smile for the costumers. I'm quite happy with how everything is going until she comes.

A strangely clean and perfumed young lady comes by my tent and starts touching everything. She speaks very loudly with the other costumers and kind of scares some of them away. I get quickly annoyed with her behavior.

- Uh miss, could you please get your tone down - I say looking down at her. She looks me in the eyes a little shook- And maybe only grab the things you really wish to buy...

I was expecting her to be a little frightened by my presence. Most villagers do. They have a lot of stories of how witches should be feared and respected. But to my surprise she opens the biggest smile and I swear I can see her eyes glow.
