Marcia is a musical theater kid. She acts, sings and dances. When she moves neighborhoods she is pleased to learn that her new neighbor also goes to her same dance school.

As her bubbly self, Marcia tries her best to befriend the other girl. However, she just gets frustrated because of how quiet and timid Anetra is. That makes Marcia determined to soften her up and get to know her better.

She starts visiting Anetra every day before dance practice. To this point, the other girl's dad has already started waiting for Marcia with snacks.

Anetra doesn't want to admit it, but she is scared to open up. She is so scared to be hurt again. And that's because she fell in love with the short blondie.

Every day she longs for when Marcia'll enter her room with that cute smile.

Anetra's POV

Today is Saturday which means no school. It also means no dance practice. But I'm wishing that Marcia will show up. She usually does, but some weekends she goes to her father's house. I hope that's not the case. I miss that, going to visit my mom I mean, but it's something I won't be able to do anymore.

That thought makes me sad so I look through my Instagram to distract myself and end up in her profile. She's just so cute. I let out a sigh, which must have caught my dad's attention.

- Is everything okay baby duck?

- Yeah... just bored I guess

- Hum - he comes near and sees my phone, then smiles - You know I've told you a hundred times, you should just confess to her.

- Dad! - I say annoyed and lock my phone - You know it's not that easy. And besides, she's probably straight.

- Didn't you say that she likes musical theater and that kind of stuff?

- Yes...

- See. That's fruity. - he moves his hand down making me laugh - I just think it would let out a big weight out of your chest. Even if she doesn't feel the same, at least you won't stay suffering with doubts.

I know that he is right. Dad is always right. Well, almost always. But I'm just so scared. I don't want to loose her... I can't manage to loose anyone anymore.

A few minutes later I hear a knock on the door. It must be her. I happily go get the door but to my disappointment it was just the mail men. From the kitchen my father just laughs at my frustrated face.

That's when I decide to make a move for once. Tell her I like her? No, hell no. But hey being the one to knock at the other's door is already a first step, isn't it? For me at least it is a big biiig one.

So I go for it. I pick my phone and head to the house next to mine. I stay a few minutes in front of the big wooden door waiting for courage. When I finally knock I hear the sweet voice I was longing for.

- Coming!

I play with my fingers nervously as I hear her steps coming closer. Then they stop. She opens the door with a smile and I can't help but to smile back.
