"Stop moving you're going to get the mask on me silly." Maria laughs holding my chin.
"Yes ma'am what ever you say." I nod
She smiles leaning down giving me a kiss on the lips.
"One more." I ask
"No not until I'm done."She smiles playfully, And I frown at her rejection
"Fine,"she rolls her eyes giving me another kiss, and I smile contentedly.
"Get the goofy smile off your face." Maria says continuing to apply the face mask. She was so mean to me and I loved it because I knew it was her love language.
I was at Maria's house having what she called a spa day. We've been hanging out at each other's house ever since I proposed to her. I was trying to spend all our time together before I left for the army.
"What movie should we watch?" Maria asks clicking through the screen.
"What ever you want." I flirt and she smiles picking a random movie.
"We have to take off the mask in ten minutes so set a timer okay."
I set timer getting comfortable as the movies starts.
"Maria were home." I hear a man announce, she sighs getting up out of my arms.
"They weren't supposed to come back until tomorrow." She whispers annoyed.
She was not too happy that her family was back. Maria told me everything about her parents and how her dad put his new wife and child over her.
She told me how she felt so detached from her dad. I hated the fact the she felt like a last option to her own family when she was always my first. It was like her dad was trying to start a new family without her in it.
"Hold on I'll be right back."
She leaves closing the door and I wait patiently for her return. When she came back she looked even more annoyed.
"What's wrong?"
"My dad wants to meet you."
"Oh okay." I say getting up eagerly.
"Not like that silly boy go wash your face." She giggles pointing me to the bathroom.
We was the mask off and she leads me to her father. I don't know why I was so nervous to meet a dead beat father.
"So this is the boy that's dating my daughter." He smiles patting my shoulder.
"Yes sir." I smile tightly disgusted by his touch.
"Nice to finally meet you." He shakes my hand.
"You too, I wish I could have meet you before, but you were never here." I say with a slickness trying to play it off as being polite.
"Are you done now?" Maria asks impatiently.
"Oh yeah go ahead." He waves us goodbye as he walks away to his room.
"Sissy!" Her 5 year old step brother Justin, yells running into her arms.
"Hey cutie, did you have fun on vacation?" She smiles.
She was perfect, even though he was a small part of the reason she's being mistreated she still managed to be kind and show him love.
"I had lots of fun we-"
"Justin what did I tell you about running off." Maria's step mom scolds him as she takes him out Maria's arms glaring at the both of us.
I can see what Maria meant we she talked about her step mom being a bitch. I just met her and it seemed like she already had a problem with me.
"Sorry." The boy frowns.
"its okay go take your bath I'll be up in a second." she smiles sitting him down to leave.
The boy walks away, and the blonde-haired woman looks at me batting her eyelashes.
"Who's this?" The woman asks Maria.
"This is Antonio my boyfriend, Antonio meet Britney." Maria says introducing us. I hated her stepmom already and she hasn't said a word to me.
"Nice to meet you," she winks.
Sure I nod a little uncontrollable
"Mom!" Justin Yells from up stairs.
"Alright well I better get up." She says walking away.
